5:50 His movements actually are pretty spot on for that quasi "gliding" effect we see in film. For the smoke, I suppose a clever costumer could employ a mini fog machine of some sort. Those arms though on the "main" costume....just looks uncomfortable. Probably why I've never seen or heard of a Hades character before...
The issue is that Hades is also a very lively, talkative character, and not having him be a face character removes a lot to the experience of meeting him since he cannot talk...plus his main costume looks super heavy to wear and also removes a lot to the body language. He doesn't look as smooth and sneaky as in the movie, just very awkward. Hades would be perfect as a face character that you can talk with, but the prostetics look SO bad. Maybe Disney should try to make him a face character without the prostetics, just a good make up? I mean Ursula has a very cartoonish face as well, but you often see her with only purple makeup and no prostetics. Or go with the Descendants version? Or having a type of enconter with Hades a bit like Crush Talk and Stitch Live? Idk

If you look closely at the one that has the weird looking prosthetic, I think it kind or resembles a helmet like the kind they wore in 300 with the weird nose guard piece.
