Minecraft cape accounts are one of the most desirable things to have in the game, which has spawned a large market based on trading Minecon capes, creating custom Optifine capes, and so on. However, some people go above and beyond in the pursuit of a special cape; one that's owned by just 1 person or a small group, and that's often worth thousands of dollars. In this episode of Minecraft Uncovered, we explore the history of the Minecraft special capes that have been lost forever.

6:47 There's actually 5, the 5th one is Nobleman. Nobleman also used to have a realms cape, making it a 7 cape, but seeing as I apparently glossed over Nobleman's entire existence in this video, I'll be telling his stories in a separate video about penta-capes (no clue when that will come out though)

im sad. i found out that mojang doesnt do minecon cape code due to sooo many scams, so i cant get my capes from my friend, he atteded minecon 2015 and 2016 and still has tickets

i feel like a scrub for only having two capes on my account also, it's kinda sad how many 4-6 cape accounts (and og accounts) are locked. the ones that are not locked will only get more valuable with each passing lockwave that mojang does. iirc, nobleman used to have seven capes, then his account got locked and his mapmaker cape got taken away

Nah, I mean on more lost cape accounts. I've been considering a video on locked accounts but I've already discussed them in like 6 videos, so I'll probably make it about a few specific accounts that I know a deep story about instead of accounts as a whole

No idea. Even if I weren't making RU-vid videos though, I'd still be doing this type of research, and I'd still be doing video editing, so that's certainly helps me not to get bored.

Why wouldn’t he stay motivated? He gets an average of 1-3 THOUSAND views per video, and almost no dislikes on each of his videos. He has over 3 THOUSAND people subscribed to him. That’s a lot of people. I don’t see why you would ask how he stays motivated, he’s researching very interesting Minecraft account history for his own knowledge, and decided to be nice and put his knowledge that he learned into a video.
