Steve Lech, the Director of Docent Training of the Mission Inn Foundation, tells the story of the Mission Inn which stretches for over a century. This presentation was given in a virtual program on March 23, 2022.
The origional owner of my restored 1924 Mission Style bungalow in Riverside started as a cashier at the Glenwood Inn after returning from battle in ww2. He retired as Frank Miller's controller in 1959. My house is built from the same structural clay blocks as the annex, same brand even. I would love to retrace his footsteps and learn more about his work life.
