Iirc, one of the differences between Warehouse and Denime (and Resolute brand) is the era they replicate. Warehouse focuses on 40s era which is wider fit and higher rise while Denime is about the 60s where the fit is on a slimmer side. Pls correct me if I’m wrong hahaha

I’d definitely say I agree with that, the fit is definitely a defining factor of their look. In doing my research I was actually surprised to see how slim the jeans became in the 50’s and 60’s. From what I was able to find, Denime has a nice cut for a slim jeans 😁

Warehouse are making the model DenimeXX220A, it´s a replica of Denime´s 80s model with Kurabo fabric and it´s gorgeous.

Thanks for the knowledge, homie! As someone who lives in the SF Bay Area, Levi's (regardless of their dips in quality) is still King out here. I debated on getting a bespoke pair for the Indigo Invitational, but they're $900 bucks and they weren't able to make them in 25oz, which is my new favorite after a year in Iron Hearts.

Ayyy thank you so much my friend! I appreciate you for real bro! I'm actually surprised to hear that Levi's is still king out there, because I feel like the LVC line has just been long ignored the past few years. I even went to the Soho flagship store and even the tailors there were so uninformed about anything that had to do with LVC and raw denim in general. It was actually quite disheartening. I'm interested to hear what fabrics they had if they didn't have any 25oz. denim! Also, what did you end up going with for the Indigo Invitational?

@@AlejandroJomar The dude at Levi's in SF was actually a former competitor so he ended up tailoring my 25oz Samurai jeans for freezy, which was dope! They fit like a dream!

Try strike gold. Great product and for a bit less than the other Japanese Selvedge and every bit as good.

Have you tried anything from blue blue Japan before? Discovered your videos before and you love natural indigo dyes a lot so this brand would be awesome for you

@@AlejandroJomar they have Sakura flower print shirts they do every year which I own a black/pink colourway and also a brown wool coat made of multiple shades. I believe no man walks alone carries them

I visited the store in Japan recently and it's full of indigo dyes things hanging up. They even had a natural indigo dyed leather jacket which was pretty awesome

When I looking to buy repro item from 501, Always think about Levi’s thing And definitely can’t pay on it I can’t cross my mind with any pure Japanese brand but I really knowing they are all goods I still care about the label above every detail in my mind. (I just wanna making through but still stuck from the bottom of my heart) These thing just really make me feeling awkward every time when I purchase than So now I just having a lot of LVC collection and still running up (Some Japanese brand style just not really fit on me ,they are too narrow from the cut of jeans, I’m always looking from classic boxy fit from the Jacket) I just wanna make it through with something Sounds a little complicated 😂 I need some suggestions 🙃 And sorry about my English Not really influenced I’m your little fans from Asia

What do you think about re starching denim for better fades??
@AlejandroJomar
@AlejandroJomar 6 месяцев назад
I re starch my jeans all the time tbh! I have learned though to definitely let the starch dry before wearing 🥲

Evis because it looks like Levi’s. S is always pronounced su in Japanese. They can’t say just s. Name change was to differentiate the English look of the name from Levi’s. In Japanese nothing changed

How ironic 😒 that the Japanese were so overtaken with American culture from Coca-Cola to rock n roll to denim jeans even too hip hop. But my main confusion is the denim jeans, which were created in America for American and immigrate miners and laborers, and the quality that they were made with was all thrown away by corporate greed and lack of national pride the Japanese pick it up ran with it and now we are paying through the nose for what America created so much that the average working person can't afford the price. There was a time when things made in Japan were considered cheap and low quality to now the most expensive jeans and other products in the world, especially for Americans to even afford . How about some Americans begin making great quality American products again, starting with denim jeans like Levi's not made in Mexico or India or any other place but America
