Sure this wasn't Faux/Tv/Drama ? If you replay it slowly.. The majority of the hit by Dave is into the back of Todd... Who is offensive lineman size. The up/close squirmy camera helped hide what happened? I'm not sold this was real.
@@legneil I don't know about gold spoons, but he looks like he has had plenty of spoons in his mouth. In addition, he has access to plenty of money, always had more equipment and more employees than Parker, yet got less gold.
@@legneil Parker had an advantage but you can't ignore his amazing worth ethic and tenacity. He could've easily blown his advantage and ended up at a 9-5 job.
@@Scrapla1 Parker has been doing it since he was like 6 with his grandpa. I hate the saying but it’s in his blood. Kid started at 18 and never quit. Gotta respect it
Dave’s killing it for his age. I’ve never seen a 60 year old man attempt a Superman punch on someone like that. When I’m 60 my first try at sprinting and I would probably fall apart like the cop in terminator 2
dave tried to blindshot him with a punch......if you think thats cool then you faked up. you are the next trend like they walk around just randomly punching ppl. Get help
@@brettadatslyfox And you are going arround and turning words in peoples mouth is nice? They whole comment is about how cool it is THAT HES STILL THAT FIT FOR HIS AGE, but you got to make something out of it there never was.
@@TheBaBaTV he's worth that much because he started the show and then sold it to discovery when it got popular. He's not even a gold miner. He took a gamble because he wanted to trying mining gold and lost. He sold the show and the rest is history.
This wasn't staged. The company I work for supplies fuel for them and later that night Dave found out everyone was headed up to the bar/grill and another fight broke out
and as you can see, it really doesnt matter how often people are shown it is all for the show, they will defend it as if it is reality. While they have nothing to gain from it, nor will they loose anything from it if it indeed IS a show.
Exactly, the cameras was not fixed on tripods and they wasnt the best shots until a camera man got close, so I agree I dont think it was staged (Y) @@skylerwillden4477
lmao. my dad used to watch this show regularly and i always always always found it funny as fuck, that todd hoffman is the only "main original cast" of Gold Rush that looks like how you'd think a gold mining prospector should look, down to the way he styes his facial hair.....BUT the man failed so royally hard at finding gold. i remember it was a regular thing for todd to have a terrible season, end with less than he had, with his crew broken up, only for the next season to start next year, and somehow he allllways managed to somehow scrape up "just enough cash" to rent machinery for "one last run at this thing" and he'd make a big statement to his crewmates about how different it'd turn out, how their luck would finally come around....and then BAM it never did and every season would end the exact same way: in abject failure, with at least 2 members of his crew hating him lol. dunno why in the world he thought diamonds in africa would do him better...oh todd hoffman, i miss your funny antics XD
Mining for diamonds either must have been a deliberate stage or he legitimately did no due diligence in determining whether diamond mining would be worth it. I wonder how many football coach sermons he had to give before his team finally agreed to go.
@@AndyF.525 lmao how can you even talk about lies when dumb ass dump couldn’t go 5 minutes with out lying 😂 it’s ironic how you think everyone else lies besides republicans.
Hoffman screws up yet again. And two good hard working guys are at each other's throats because off the stress of the job. Todd you can't run a crew of guys ever. You screw it up EVERY SEASON!!!!!!
Hey Allen Googe , I agree totally look everytime you see Todd Hoffman , his ass is standing around while mean while you see his old man busting his ass on a loader or any other thing that needs to be done ! Pure LAZY NESS !!!
The conflict is the producer's objective, viewers love it! Most people don't realize is the cast is paid a salary regardless of gold production. All of this doom and gloom is just so much BS. The gold probably goes to the producers.
You need to wake up mate. To give up jobs because Todd says "oh come work for me and make loads of money " but he screws up every season. Their families suffer because Todd is useless and only out for him and his useless father. Prove otherwise! What's God got to do with it? I haven't seen him driving diggers or loaders!
People still believing this show is real is the best part 😂🤣 imagine spending millions to mine nothing and still come back every season because the show pays for it. And people think it's real 😂
@@mikeblazey3906 no matter how good or bad someone does on the show they are always back. Spending millions of dollars to pocket 20k which some of these dudes did or broke even would not get you another season. Bit these guys are back every season. Funny I made this comment 7 months ago and just saw a video the other day of one of parker's drivers activating a smoke machine under the hood of a dump truck. 🤣🤷♂️
What happened to the good old days where you could settle a beef on lunch. Squabble it out, get some good licks in then help each other up and get back to work.
Fun fact Todd is from the small town in Oregon that I live in and I went to school with his kid. Let's just say they're pretty similar personality wise.
In all fairness, that Trey had it coming. For one, nobody likes the safety guy on a jobsite. The way he talked to the crew members, you could tell he thought he was better than all of them. Secondly, this crew in general was totally disorganized and had no clue what they were doing from the start. They were just the drama queens of Gold Rush. Rather the fight was scripted or not, it was bound to happen. A good boss is a good leader and they utilize each person's individuals strengths to make the entire crew better. The Hoffmans had a leader in Dave and they wouldn't let him use his full potential. He should have been running a crew and had the opportunity to teach the newer guys and had his voice heard. The Hoffmans turned Gold Rush into the Jerry Springer show.
The guy that (Wrapped up) Dave Brings back allot of Memories.. I used to work with Bouncers. 98% of the time I could talk people down before there was even as much as a shove. But there were several times that I had to do the Exact same thing that that Man did. As the Bouncers did what they had to do. I'm kind of in an emotional state right now thinking about the time's that I had to do the same thing in a (Domestic related situations) one was with my father when I was 18.. I was Woke up by my mother out of a dead sleep at 6:00 in the morning to my mom yelling through my bedroom door.. fuck! Thinking about this again makes it feel like yesterday.. ----r "Get up your Dad has a gun!!" Still in my boxers I ran out of my room to hear my Dad in the foyer I basically jumped down the stairs (12 standard steps) where my Dad was holding a 22. Rifle saying that he was going to kill himself.. I immediately disarmed him. And that is where he came at me. Anyway I had to put him in a similar hold as to where I didn't have to injure him and he could not injure me. I had to hold him like that for probably a half hour before the police arrived. I held him as they cuffed him. He was placed on a 72 hour Psychological hold.. he was in the hospital over New year's.. he passed away in August of this year 2018. Again with my youngest of two half Brothers.. he was on a drunk and in an argument with my mom ( she was also drinking) in the basement of another of my Parents houses after my folks had divorced. My Brother started shouting "What do you want me to kill myself!!!! Fine!!" I ran down the stairs from the room that my 6yo son and I were in. To where my Brother was holding an AK - 47 under his chin I managed to get it away from him and then again ( De- ja- fucking - Vu) he turned on me.. this one got bloody as hell but we all walked away.. 6 years later he did it.. Blew his Brains out with that same AK-47. In November just after Thanksgiving. I was upstairs in the bathroom shaving my face he was just outside of the split level house basement when I heard the shot... I was less than 15 Feet away from him and there wasn't a god damn to that I could do about it... 6 yrs ago and I still hear that shot.. Edit: he was 12 yrs older than me and we were close as hell.
I know this is old but on the chance you see this, know you're not alone there's alot of people who've gone through such things, just know that. I know it's a horrible thing most can't begin to imagine. My prayers are with you and all those who've had such stain their minds. I feel close to you in a weird way though I only know this small detail, I don't know why things happen like this exactly but as you've made me feel not alone I want to attempt to extend such, God willing perhaps someday we'll reunite with our lost ones and perhaps then we won't remember the sound or the sight, until then may The Heavenly Father fill our hearts and minds with better things, know you're always loved! God bless
@@benjohnnyboy6134 300,000 Vietnam Veterans have died since the end of the Vietnam war from exposure to Dioxin Poisoning (Agent Orange) as of 2020...this number doesn't include the number of suicides. As a Vietnam Vet I personally know three of my closest veterans friends ended their lives...two had cancers and just ended it...In many ways I guess I can understand, but after fighting for their lives and the lives of their brothers it seems so very wrong they chose to give up. (2/502 INF, 101st Airborne Vietnam)
Robert Strong This is true, he can find his crew members at each other's throats, he can find a million excuses, but nope, no gold to show for any of it.
Todd Hoffman makes really crappy and consistent bad business decisions. Every time he finds good ground he moves everything to some unproven distant ground that always proves to be a joke. He’s one of those “do the opposite of what he does and you’ll succeed” type of people.
It's fiction. At first in the loaders Dave Turin to a red shirt under his gray cotton and when he fights a few minutes later with Trey ... he has a fluorescent yellow shirt. It did not happen the same day, or he changed his shirt while moving.Small detail noticed ...
Yes but in the movies they leave the mistakes because everyone knows it is a film. The accusation here is that this show is fake and scripted. If they were intentionally deceiving the viewers there would be no mistakes as that could ruin the reputation of the whole show.
For god sake...step back and let the men handle their buisness, afterwards everything will be fine. People dont seem to get it, sometimes its just time to do wolf shit.
anyone else notice the jiu jitsu used by the guy holding dave down at the end? rear naked hold i believe, had the hooks in and the seatbelt on lol THAT GUY was the most dangerous guy there.
Everything what jujitsu or any other fighting style knows it’s learned and taken from natural human fighting, observed, documented and named a style of fighting. Pretty much something every fighter have it In him anyway 😒
