I'm glad they were corrected on that Bible question. God DID allow Moses to see the Promised Land from a mountain, BUT, because of the sin Moses committed, God did not allow Moses to enter the Promised Land. Joshua was the one who lead the people into it.
I was 6 years old when this episode of Squares aired.Still living in St.Paul MN at 1182 Selby Ave. If my memory serves me correct I think this episode of Squares aired on KMSP TV CH.9 when it was still with ABC before the network switch of 3-5-1979!!
I grew up with ALL 3 versions of Squares!!--I,ve always liked THE GAME ITSELF however the John Davidson & Tom Bergeron versions weren't too bad but not so great either.Nothing beats the original classic Hollywood Squares with Peter Marshall The master of The Hollywood Squares!!
Earlier today I was watching the John Davidson version of The Hollywood Squares from 1987 that had Bob Barker & Janice Pennington & Dian Parkinson all from The Price Is Right!! Too bad they didn,t appear on Peter Marshall.s nighttime syndicated Squares--on the original daytime Squares I can understand because Squares was on NBC & Price Is Right on CBS (COMPETING NETWORKS) It would have been nice to see Bob Barker & his beauties on the classic nighttime syndicated Squares with Peter Marshall!!
This show has all the original commercials that would have been presented during the 1978 broadcast of the show. How is this possible? The reason I am asking, is because it looks like it was on Game Show Network. And Game Show Network didn't exist in 1978. Anyway, I'm glad that it has the original commercials it really lends authenticity and it's almost like going back in a time machine.
@ Jordan M. I would think that Paul wasn't the secret square more because he is the center square. Most people, when playing Tic Tac Toe, start with the center square.
