I"m here sitting on my deck in the backyard in tears, shouting HALLELUJAH! Thank you for this heavenly transcending rendition that allow us to visualize "the holy city', THE NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from GOD, as a bride adorned for her husband" Oh, what a day that will be. Father God, please forgive us of our sine, help thou our unbelief and help us to be ready. IJN. Amen,
We must always remain ready for tomorrow is not promised to us. The Lord can call us home at any moment and to put off the decision to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior is sheer foolishness. You may never get another chance to save your soul from eternal damnation in hell to those who reject the love and safety of God Almighty. Choose today whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
Wow 😳 TO SAY THAT IM IN THE LACK OF WORDS IS TO SAY NOTHING! Its impossible to listen the song without tears! IT WAS INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE THAT MAKE TO THINK ABOUT THE HEAVENLY CHOIR ON THE CRYSTAL SEA WITH ALL SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST! 🙏🏼❤️😃
These young folks are so incredibly sincere and loving…..they make me cry. This is what gives me hope for the future. Let’s praise and support these beautiful young souls!
The choir sound like angels themselves in heaven singing. Perfectly lovely! Brilliant voice control.Well done also to the musicians, including the highly skillful conductor . He has taught them well Bril
Yeshua! This was Awesome and Spirit Stirring....To enter Jerusalem on a Tour bus several times they when entering the City they play this song! You are Fabulous! Awesome Rendition
Glory be to God! I just stopped by to listen to a song my old Australian childhood school choir used to sing and I got transported straight to Heaven on angels wings. Hallelujah! Sing it brothers and sisters. Amen! Encore! Encore!
I once heard the SDA Minister from all over the south Pacific together sing Lift high the cross in Cooranbong in Australia. They were so loud and such feeling that you felt it go through you. I will never forget it. And I love the passion for our God as they all sing. God bless them all. Cannot wait till we all go to heaven and we all sing. oh my what a day that will be.
I've heard this song sung many times but will never hear it the same way after hearing this magnificent rendering of it! Such joyful and passionate honoring of the Lord and His salvation! How I wish I could have been there to hear and see this in person---- can only imagine how thrilling it was for those who were so privileged!
No demerit on other voices worldwide (countless beautiful voices from everywhere), but the voices of the black ethnicity are just breathtaking*! May the One (the only Lord God) be exalted for His love for all mankind! *seems that their larynx is designed for singing!!!!!
This is absolutely heavenly. Thank you Dr Jason Max and the Oakwood community for your wonderful contribution to choral music. I've listened to this again and again and again. It is just wonderfully rearranged with the most beutiful harmonies.
So very glad I heard this song this morning. I was to sing this today but was unable to. This arrangement and performance brought a new thrill to me. So powerful and magnificent! Kudos to the pianist, the singers, and the conductor. You have provided so many blessings through this.
So glad I found this! Beautiful and reminds that all nations will one day Worship our King Jesus with one roaring chorus! Thank you for lifting up my heart tonight reminding why there is breath to praise and worship our God.
What an inspiring interpretation of this wonderful song. Thank you! I definitely need to visit your campus and hear your fabulous and blessed choir in person!
Thank you for a complete emotional experience of happiness! I remember this song from my childhood and I am so glad to find your incomparable rendition.
What a wonderful portrait it is. I think, this performance is the best of the best performance on RU-vid about this same song. Ito na ang pinakanakakaantig na performance na napanood ko dito sa RU-vid. Best of the best ika nga. Proud SDA here from Philippines.
This has fast become my #1 song to listen to. My only wish is that the female singers (especially where the dialog between them and the pianist was happening) were more visible. The pianist is top notch. I could listen to him all day. Well done. 🙏🏽🖤
Amen!
Perfect group and love very so much this song " The Holy City ", but the interpretion here is very slow and I prefer original music time equal in the score/partitur " Moderato "... 🙏🏻
My church choir sang this song in the 60's, and I hadn't heard it again until today. I had tried to find it, but always searched "Jerusalem". Wonderful, mystically beautiful song. So many from that choir and congregation are no longer with us. This was a gift to me, and thanks to all.
Incredible conducting, pianist and voice range.,.... Thank and Bless you all.... Only heard this incredible rendition now, but phenomenal good for the soul..... Wowwww
What a beautiful performance! Really want to have the choir in others Hymns with this talented choir conductor. God bless you all! I really really want to know the lady who sang beautifully soprano part behind the video, and hope to see her as a soloist of this song with the choir soon.
I too enjoyed immensely. Go to one of my uploads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w_OTTycBiM0.html. If you're not interested in the entire concerts of several generations of Aeolians fast forward to 1:53:27 for a beautifully arranged hymn by these particular generations and both directors of the Aeolians for them (breath taking). Of course the Aeolians was formed circa 1944 by Dr. Eva B. Dykes. I was part of 1971-73.
