The strangest thing about the Zephenia Mann statue is probably just that it’s Zepeniah. He’s obscure even by TF2 secondary character standards. I could see Saxton Hale, Miss Pauling, the Administrator, or Merasmus, but the Halloween ghost?

I remember trying to get ahold of that Sniper Gaming Heads statue a few years ago, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I wrote the company asking if they would take my organs in exchange for relisting just one, not really expecting a response, but they politely declined.

tf2 is so old, i remember seeing all those merch but unable to buy any of it cus i was a kid. now when im old and have a job i cant buy any of those anymore because its all discounted. especially the Archimedes plush

These kinds of niche collectibles that aren't really uber-expensive or anything are always a treat to me. Something almost kinda "pure" about them; you're not necessarily getting them to show them off or resell later, they're just cool and neat to have.

A friend of mine had once gotten a heavy figure that gave him a code for the genuine tough guy's toque. Don't know how rare that thing is but I find it real neat.

The only Tf2 product I own is the Heavy From NECA with a special in game code for a genuine Officers Ushanka. It has a special place in my heart though since it was a birthday gift and it completed my Soviet commander load out for Heavy in game 😁

I had that Demoman shirt where he is sticky jumping with a sticky printed on the lower back of the shirt. As you can expect, I had to throw it away since the print got heavily damaged through a lot of washings.

My father used to have a huge collection of tf2 merchandise, robot figurines and action ones, spycrab plushie and the sandwich, He gave it to me some time ago and I stumbled upon this video. I won't sell any of it because it has emotional value to me but I may start playing tf2 like my father used to, and since he mained soldier I might aswell do so aswell

Actually a huge thank you for this video. I've been looking for information on "Holy Grail" items for fandoms and such and this video actually really helps out because it's easy to just say "golden pan lol" but this brings up a ton of the physical possibilities which is so much more interesting to think about in our community. The fact that it could be a tie between a foam bat and a prototype statue is absolutely wild.

wouldn't it be plausible that the grey 'prototype' figurines, were simply bought normally and then dunked in a chemical solution that removes the paint? Could imagine people doing that to fool people into thinking its higher value & rarity

I have a Spy Crab plush (Red) that comes with the actual cosmetic in game. I’m assuming it isn’t very rare but I think it’s cool.

Don't have most of my TF2 stuff I had when I was younger, but I still have the 2 work shirts they made! The green Mann Co one and the navy one with the Engineer logo on it! I cherish them, especially since they're still in good condition

I remember spotting a red robot Pyro figure at this geeky shop years ago. It was really expensive though and so I could have never bought it for myself. All I could do was stare at it through the glass display with the other figures they had in it. I never realised how much they were sought out for and I also never saw it again after that encounter.

i would love that atomizer prop. just to swing around, really. i love things that i can just swing with very little effort. it's weirdly satisfying.

The portable Mercs have actually been out of production for years. I’ve emailed them a few times for replacement parts from ones I’ve managed to find because they have defects or missing parts, and they told me they don’t produce them anymore and are sending me whatever leftover stock they have.

I distinctly recall seeing a foam replica of Engineer's wrench at one point. I personally own a few items, but that wrench is not one of them.

Good to see others passionate about TF2 merch! I remember seeing that Atomizer, along with the Jacket and other cool shit, like pyro suit sweaters and actual Bonk energy drinks. I also remember them teasing, or at least talking about a second wave of Portable Merc Figures a couple years ago? Might be wrong. It's a shame, they seem almost impossible to get now. I have a couple, but always wanted one of the rare 3 or a BLU spy, at least. But I feel very lucky to have the exclusive version (razorback) of the GamingHead's RED Sniper statue, among Archimedes, Spycrab and Balloonicorn plushies, a couple T-Shirts and a RED team scarf.

As a tf2 fan and collector myself, I'm also annoyed at the way some things are discontinued or hard to find. I would love for Valve to make more big statues. I never got any of them and I would absolutely love to have one of medic and engie. however, I wonder why the rest was never made to complete the series but it bugs me. I got all the small red figures except for spy but it would have been nice to expand upon this as well. Merasmus, Saxton hale and miss Pauling are some examples of figures I would love to own.

I never realised how rare the atomiser bat is i got one for my birthday along with a bonk cherry energy drink a few years back the bat didn’t have a box or packaging but is undamaged and the can still remains unopened

I have a Scout figure, Sniper figure, and Heavy figure When we got them the Scout was on sale so we got it for 20 bucks, the Sniper for 30. And the Heavy for 160. But never knew that the Sniper was rare...

I've got all the Neca figures for both Team colour's. Although they never finished the Blu Team. And the Big Blu Robot Heavy which looks great with the smaller figures beside it.

I remember watching on a 10 to 1 store on mexico, not only the "Bonk" bat, but also the portal gun, gravity gun and some tf2 pins and pyro/scout plushes; but back then i was just 15 years old; so i never managed to buy anything at the time

Scouts VA has an atomizer bat that he held in one of his youtube videos. It looked like it was signed by some of the team members or voice actors which was super cool.

There's also the real Pomson prop that was produced by Weta Workshop, no idea how rare it is, but it was sold at an original MSRP of a cool $6000 USD

Wow.. I have been researching TF2 merch for about a year now and I never heard of half of this stuff, but yeah these are definitely rare. I am currently trying to find a BLU Robot Heavy Action figure, but obviously that has not been easy. But I completed my set of TF2 regular action figures so i am ready for the challenge.

my theory as to why the sniper statue became so rare is because he's not nearly as famous/iconic as, say, heavy and soldier. not to say people dont like sniper, but if you're gonna get one of these, you're prolly gonna go with one of the big boys and not the character that's only really cool if you've played the game extensively. because of this, the company probably produced more heavies/soldiers and less snipers because the former would sell way more than the latter.

I actually own one of the Atomizer bats, I don't remember how much it was but I remember doing insane amounts of scavenging on ebay for a listing. It was brand new in the unopened packaging bag and everything too, wish I knew how rare they were before hand

I actually have a few of the TF2 merch. A few shirts, the invis spy, some action figures, mousepads, NECA Pyro plushie, and even the Chess Set (although I don't know where it is). I also lost my Bonk! Atomic Punch tumbler which hurts the most :(

I managed to snag a giant robot blu heavy a year ago at a geek shop down near where my college course is for around 130-160 GBP. I still have it up on my shelf and love it so much, mint condition and everything. I had asked him to keep me updated if he ever gets anything of the sort again, but he had shut down due to the disease that shall not be named. Really sucked, honestly. He had so much good shit in there.

Would you have made this video several years early, I would have been more than happy to show off my Ghost statue and Sniper statue, as well as both versions of the Sandvich. Sadly I sold them off a few years back, I kinda regret doing it.
