► FREE E-Book www.lebestark.ch/startseite-english/kettlebell-code-e-book/ Here's an awesome game for you guys! Count how many times I'm saying "so-called". LOL
Gotta get ready for bed can't watch at the moment but, wanted to give you a comment for the algorithm. You keep me motivated and working on my kettlebell technique. I appreciate what you do!
Three quick comments: 1) Your channel is the best on RU-vid for kettlebell. 2) Your slow-motion shots are INCREDIBLY helpful for technique questions, and 3) I just finished one of your workouts, and felt like I wasn’t activating my hips enough in my H2H swings. I just realized you counterswing your opposite arm backwards, and that’s what I’ve been missing. Now it feels much more natural and powerful at the same time. Hope that helps someone else.
Man, im impressed with KB workouts. It looks so natural and anatomically make sense. While watching this video, i went "That looks like natural movements. A bit like everyday movements, to strentghten motions u perform on a daily basis. All of a sudden, weights in gym seem robotic and 'artificial'." Ive unsubscribed from gym, subscribed to channel! U have one convert😅
I have rediscovered the fun and benefits of working with Kettlebells - I bought 3 to start with and I am using them in weekly routine. Thanks for your videos, I find them inspirational and educational.
You are an excellent teacher. I binge watched several of your videos this evening & am inspired. I've been following Pavel Tsatsouline's workout from his book, "The Quick and the Dead" for a couple of years & it has improved my overall conditioning but I've wanted to add something more & this helps.
Love your content, trying to get back into kettlebells after many years so your content is excellent since im looking for a more hybrid workout. Lots of praise from denmark.
From what I learned, lifting your back foot during swings can be dangerous. If you struggle with that, Pavel suggests you lift the front of your toe. Just a friendly heads up
What helped me just like this gentleman said. Master the 3 trinity but after that do the high kettlebell swing. It's a great transition to locking out above your head. Snatch requires that extra snap from your lower body. Takes coordination but it makes workout fun 😊
You’ve earned my subscription. I appreciate the hard work you’re putting into these videos; they are a great help to me as I begin my kettlebell journey! I’ll try this workout this week and report back how it goes.
Is it possible to make a minimalist workout system for physical preparedness? I know Canada's air force had a system called 5bx. It was designed for everybody on base and off to stay fit so if shit hit the fan, they could survive or get the job done. Could you make something like that? Maybe people want something super simple, and will keep them healthy and strong. Like a full body workout mixed with cardio and mobility. That would be dope.
Terrific video/session brother, thanks for posting it! The instruction and enthusiasm you bring had me subscribe. Now to progressively watch more of your videos.
The Trinity is a really great exercise. I was completely gassed the first few times I made it through . I found watching the video very helpful to hone better technique and perform it daily. Thank you sir!
"holy trinity" LOL That got me! Nothing like a good idol-worshiping workout to really get your blood flame-boiled and ready for that fire!! Excellent workout!!
No. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Pavel is but only one source in the world of kettlebells. There's way more to learn out there.
LOL Chris for catching me repeating the word "so-called" too many times! I thought so as well in the editing process! A typical "RU-vidr sickness". - Gregory
I prefer single KB for 4 big reasons: 1. Cross-body pulling hits back and obliques more than a straight swing. 2. More natural stance and natural (narrower) width between knees for single. 3. Double KB snatch is impractical and far more dangerous to put two heavy weights overhead than one. 4. Less equipment needed for single KB because one is less than two ;) Just my opinion! GL 💪
I never understood this sharp exhaling that people do. I understand the benefits of box or triangle breathing for recovery but any kind of forced breathing pattern during anaerobic lifts has always felt like it's more work for the same results.
It’s part of Pavel’s hard-style method. At lock-out the body is under tension, the forced exhale is due to the core being tense, if you breath out all nice and quiet you may lose your “kime”. It’s the exact opposite in girevoy sport which is all about reducing tension to a minimum.
He probably added it due to amount of people coming to learn KBs who had zero core activation and gluteal amnesia, etc, when they swing they hyperextend at lock out and end up with lower back pain after training.
I don't believe I'm coordinated enough to do that swing footwork. The swing moves faster than my brain and my feet. I tried it once and almost fell. It also looks like it does away with the hip and knee lockout at the top of the swing. If there's a fitness advantage, I'd like to know what it is and how it works.
hi gregory. i have a question for you. i've never trained with kettlebells and i'm thinking of purchasing one of your courses. are your courses specifically designed for competition kettlebells or it doesn't matter? my gym only has cast iron kettlebells
I do it only outside, in a small garden close to my flat. Otherwise i do the classic One Hand Swing which, personally, I even prefer. SO you can do, for this workout, 1 minute with the left hand and one minute with right hand before moving to the next exercise.
These exercises work the full body; with a special emphasis on the posterior chain of your body. (Lower back, hamstrings, glutes). If you switch from "traditional" lifting to kettlebells, you're mostly engaging into total body movements. - Gregory
Ah, very interesting how that corkscrew manuever allows you to--- DOGGY! DOGGY DOG DOG DOG! WHO'S A GOOD WOOFERS? ARE YOU THE GREATEST WOOFERS? YOU ARE! YOU'RE THE LORD OF ALL GOOD DOGGIES!
@@suxxa The Get Up (while it is awesome) can be done with any other training tool. Swing, Clean & Jerk and Snatch (with high volume) on the other hand, are exclusively reserved for kettlebells.
Kettlebell is incredible to strengthen your lower back. You will feel like you are floating when you walk. You will never have felt so nimble on your feet before.
