Our self-built "two-stroke engine" project, built only with a normal lathe and milling machine without any castings or CNC technology, is finished: After the lubrication and cooling system have been built, it is started. It runs very nicely; 8,000 rpm are reached. Higher speeds are possible. We will soon brake it under load.

it idles very smoothly and nicely for a 2-stroke, so the port layout must be quite effective at clearing the exhaust from the cylinder even when the engine is running slow. You must be very pleased! It seems that you could simplify the engine a great deal by mixing the oil with the fuel, given that it uses a carburettor anyway. Obviously this isn't a perfect solution in many respects (too much oil is used at low speed) but if you intend to power a vehicle of some kind with it the simplicity might be desirable.

Ja, das koennte hinkommen, da es fast derselbe Hubraum pro Zylinder wie bei der Dreizylinder H1 ist, und die hat 60 PS.
