Where did you get the household income stat... I haven't seen it that high for Louisville. I've seen it that high for areas like St. Matthew's but not for Jefferson County or the Consolidated Governmennt. I'm not suprised about Nashville. Tennessee has not income tax, so they make it up high taxes on everything else...
Great question! The household income stat came from the following website: worldpopulationreview.com/us-cities/louisville-ky-population. The "average" income would be higher than the "median" household income, because it still includes the highest incomes levels that may be considered outliers in the median calculation. I hope that helps.
Thanks for this great video, my wife and I have been trying to purchase a house in Chattanooga without success due to market disequilibrium caused by the disastrous government response to the Pandemic. We will make our first visit to Louisville in December. We're broadening our options to increase our opportunities to escape from NYC before SHTF (again). On paper (and in your videos) Louisville looks like a great city. Can you comment on the advantages and disadvantages of living on the Indiana side? Can you recommend a good real estate agent and mortgage broker?
Thanks for your comment. Louisville is a great place to live. I've been here over 10 years now. As far as pros and cons for Indiana- You will save on taxes, car insurance, and in some cases the real estate is more affordable. However, you will have to pay tolls to cross the bridge to Louisville. Most amenities and activities are in Louisville. Depends on your situation and what you are looking for. Some of the counties surrounding Louisville are also great places to live. I am a real estate agent, and I would be happy to help you or answer any questions you have (502-792-2387). Give me a call or text, I'm happy to help. I recommend Bobby Clifton with Cross Country Mortgage as a lender. Shoot me a text and I'm happy to share his contact info with you.
@@martinmccord We're talking about Louisville, how could I not be? Kinda wild that you clearly have access to the internet and this comment triggered you.
Thanks for clarifying! I believe Tom Cruise spent several of his childhood years in Louisville. He attended Saint Xavier High School for a short period of time. Thanks for watching!
Yes, a plenty of job opportunities for a blue color workers only. Not so friendly town towards people of different origin. I have heard so many times "I "love" your accent" sentence...
Come to Louisville. Capitol of worst place in U.S. for any ailment associated with allergies. On your way out, you can fly from an airport named after a well-known cowardly Vietnan era DRAFT DODGER.
