Finally a young male influencer opening up. This kind of ‘socially accelerated’ drug use isn’t spoken about enough. I don’t know any guys under 25 who aren’t on the exact same cycle. Not one. Most hold down full time jobs and are considered ‘successful’ from good families etc but these insidious habits still take their toll, some take lives. Thank you for being honest, this is important.

Far out i would love for Chloe to make a video and explain how she copped with a boyfriend who would be a complete different person on weekends with drinks and drugs. How she always stuck by your side and helped you through this even though i feel like the person needs to want it for themselves and not because the partner wants them to stop. You’ve done a great job mitch you’re a champ.

Finally a young male using his platform! There are so many young boys and men who need to have someone to guide them and to know that it isn't normal behaviour to party like it's the end of the world. To break the stigma for men not being able to talk about their feelings and mental states. I have a 16 year old brother who is EASILY influenced by older 'Friends'; And this is something so empowering for him to hear. I hope a lot of people reflect on Mitch's words and do some soul searching.

There’s a huge amount of empowerment and strength coming from Mitch’s story and as much as I know it will help both males and females, I think there’s a lot of males out there that will benefit by watching this. It can be really difficult for men in general to speak up about their struggles and show some vulnerability BUT every time at least one male is able to this, it will hopefully motivate another to do the same. Thank you for using your platform to share stuff that will make a difference. You’re a bloody legend Mitch.

As someone who fixated on cocaine myself, I deeply appreciate and respect you being so raw and vulnerable on your large platform. It’s the most rewarding feeling to be on the other side of it, and I couldn’t be prouder of you to have had the self awareness to kick those bad habits to the curve. You have undoubtedly changed and inspired the lives of many who have been in your shoes. Wishing you, Chloe and your future baby all of the health and happiness in the world.

Mitch, my dad is an alcoholic and became really bad about 5 years ago, when his job got very stressful. I hope you see this and know throughout your parenting journey please don’t fall back into your bad habits. I’m not saying you will, as you seem really determined, but that’s just what happened to my dad. I’m 18 and I have a younger sibling, and my dad doesn’t realise how much he’s hurt us. Go you! Honestly Mitch this was so relatable having gone through a marijuana addiction and dropping out of school at year 10 to get high every day. That all started back in 2018. Now going on 4 months completely sober and about to start studying for my degree in film and TV at JMC Academy in Melbourne, you are completely right, once you stop your bad habits that are setting you back you start to feel more motivated to do the things you enjoys and start to achieve things in life. Very relatable and I think you did a smack bang perfect job at explaining your story to the world, encouraging others to do the same. Great job Mitch.

Mitch you're a legend mate thanks for opening up, I think it's a testament to you that you have been able to change your habits, especially at your age. I'm 27 and have been living a less extreme version of your story for most of my adult life. I would consider myself successful, I would consider my friends successful however we consistently engage in negative behaviour as it's borderline accepted as normal. Our baseline for what constitutes a good time has completely been warped and I am sure it has negatively affected parts of my personality. Having the strength to say no to that short-term, instant gratification mindset is incredibly powerful so good on you mate, I'll take that as encouragement for my own life.
@ababy6052
@ababy6052 4 года назад
You literally explained this to a T. I was pregnant at the time and went through this with my partner it drained the life out of me and he decided towards the end to turn his life around after many relapses. I’ve learnt when it’s just you and your family that’s all that matters and majority of what happens outside of your bubble is irrelevant - you’re doing your family great, Thankyou.

I can relate to this. I used to go out clubbing and drinking every weekend with people who were toxic and did not care at all. It wasn’t until I met my partner and he said I bet your can’t go sober for month that I realised how good I felt and began to reconnect with myself, as well as have quality over quantity of people in my life. It feels amazing! Congratulations to you on your journey this far! This is such a good story and lessons to communicate to your children. I hope they see this video when they are older and understand that it is about quality of life. Good on ya matey

i know you don't know me, but I AM SO FUCKING PROUD of you !!!!! so many people don't realise these things until they are in their late 20's and some never realise, some get married and settle down and stop but they miss the party life. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO LIFE ! I've always felt so different because yes i liked to go to a club here and there and drink i was always so against those types of drugs. i honestly couldn't understand why anyone would want to take that shit and last year, i was so fucking depressed, i tried to take my own life and going out with a friend for her birthday i gave into it and tried cocaine. i felt so sick and mad at myself the next day for even trying it. Please know you are an inspiration and i hope so many young people watch this especially men because i feel they fall the hardest to keep up with the stigma of getting drunk with the boys and shit. These are things so many people go through and we do brush it off as “normal” there’s more to life then feeling comfort in hangovers and only having fun whilst on drugs! I struggle with not going over the top but this is a reminder that we can change our beliefs and habits 🤍 proud!

Good on ya mate. I had a terrible drug problem for 7 years, started as partying then took over every aspect of my life. Been sober for 2 and a half years now, i was ready to make that change and i did. I dont have many friends anymore but the friends i had back then were not real friends, it was all about the drugs. Onwards and upwards!

Honestly have never related to something so much before! Loved this video and I've just gone through the same thing myself and have come out on the other side! I now eat super clean, train 5 times a week, live for lifting weights and see a physiologist once a month. Have never felt happier and as positive as I do now. I have a few drinks on the occasional weekend but I don't feel the need to get on the drugs and get absolutely wrecked every weekend. Love this!

Good on you for doing better for yourself and now you would of helped so many. My husband had some bad habits then when it came time to have kids he went of all and its been 24 years now he went cold turkey never looked back his kids meant more to him than the crap he was doing. You are going to be a great dad now for it very well done to you, keep up the great work.

So great to see you in a better place. I definitely noticed a difference over the last 12 months in you as a person. You seem more mindful now. Very giving of your time to friends, family and community. Also the energy you get from other people and energy you give to other people is so vibing. Keep it up! Thanks for being honest and taking accountability for your life.
