At that kind of heat, a lot of the flavour dissipates but it was fun to watch. You should go to India and head to somewhere like the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai which has truly spectacular upscale Indian cuisine but even a fairly average restaurant will have flavours that are so perfectly balanced it takes the cuisine to different levels.

That clip you had of him brought back great memories of a fantastic entertainer who by the way was a friend of Frank Sinatra. Hiya Lee! I don’t really do curry’s. I’m a lightweight and love a sweet coconut curry so a korma is me. I have to get mushroom rice and a garlic naan. Yum. The most I can manage is a tikka. But that restaurant’s presentation of the food and the bowls. It looked good. Gotta come up to the north west and try The Copper Pot which is in Rochdale. They do fish curry dishes and it’s also not a halal restaurant. Like to go for a treat every now and again. But it’s the bees knees. My boys also love stuffed mushrooms which have meat in as a starter too Can tell Darren has a cast iron stomach when comes to curries. He also gets on it with eating it and clears his plate most of the time

Good video. You made that so well that the viewer was almost experiencing with you what appeared to become quite an ordeal. Ive eaten a chicken Phal myself and I know the exact feeling. My only criticism, based on what we saw in your video, is the size of the portion of the main meal looked rather small for the price. Also I reckon Darren was putting on a front. I actually think it crucified him and he was trying to hide it. You did point out he was crying and coughing slightly afterall. But you gave it a 9.8/10 which means its good. A lot of dogs go missing in Burnley...Surprisingly enough, most of the takeaways chickn meet is quite dark.

That’s not a bad price considering it’s London on the river a very nice ambience a few beers . I think that’s ok . It would be nice in the evening to wine and dine your partner.

Vindaloo is great but Phaal is King, if something worth doing its worth doing right. Cobra beers are essential accompaniment for a Curry, it wont save u but tastes good. Top tip Lee eat spicy curry dishes with a spoon and fork. That way you get a proportion of rice versus the inferno dish on your utensil............I would give that a 8.5 for sure and reason mark it down is I dont like coloured Rice, eat with your eyes also.

I’m too old for the hot curries. I like to taste the food these days lol. So a jalfrezi is about my limit…..

I was sent on detachment to Stornoway RAF base to chef for staff during a big exercise. One day the lads asked me would I make a curry for them all. I asked how hot, they said as hot as you can make it. 1lad took 1 mouthful he went red started sweating thought I had killed him he ate it all and came back for seconds, Ring sting next morning though 🤣🤣🤣🤣
