I actually went September last year to that same restaurant with a friend on her birthday. We ordered the soy meat phal (as I am a vegan) and I survived it. But my friend finished it all. Yes, she is a beast of the spice. We’ve been many times. There’s also a good Indian restaurant in Santa Cruz, the capital. You should try it next time. Nothing is greasy and everything is very taste. Cheers!

On the goo tray, I like the cucumber raita, oh and spiky onions. The half and half conundrum: work canteed, definitely half 'n' half. A proper restaurant meal? no chips. You have huge portions of rice there, those curries look amazing.

By the way, have you visited a place called “Terrazas Del Sauzal”? It’s in the north of Tenerife, where I live. I actually work there playing music on Thursdays (7-9pm) it’ll be lovely to see you there. And it’s a place with the most stunning views of the island. You won’t regret it!

Food presentation looked lovely. I could live on pappadoms, onion bhajis and mixed starters. Mango on paps is a must but an Indian waiter once told me to try mixing the mango, mint yoghurt and onions together and whack it on the paps.....it works, and gives a great mix of flavours in the mouth. As soon as I heard the word phaal, I thought strap yourself in for a bumpy ride. Lol. Good work guys.
