Hey man you can stay in 32 bits but you have to put the effect HDR Compander on top of it and ''compress range'' it by 2 on top. Than duplicate the effect and drag it below colorama and put it to ''Expand range'' and put it to 2. This basicly compresses the color ranges so 16 bit effects will work in 32 bit :) (if you have an 8bit effect your gonna have to compress by 4 instead of 2)

@@motionbynick Really new to AE, but that plugin looks handy. I don't see it by following any of the links. I thought it was in the 'freebie' link, but I'm not seeing it. Pardon me if I'm a bit daft, it's probably right before my eyes!
