There was an exchange in the beginning of the match where Eddie went for the Uraken, Malakai dodged it and went for the Black Mass, and it ended with both of them sitting and staring each other down and it was just SO good. I want a singles match between these two so bad I can't believe they almost never have these guys on TV, and yet have all the TV time in the world Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarret, and The Firm. These guys are the guys we should be putting EVERYTHING behind

@@imneveruploadinghere7180 Oh yeah, all the people who were popping huge at Arther Ashe for The Acclaimed all happened to have the same prescient vision the night before of The Acclaimed and Jeff Jarret and Jay Lethal having a mediocre indie-rific match 4 months later and all collectively agreed to cheer for The Acclaimed that night so that prophecy might come to be. The only thing Jeff Jarret and Jay Lethal did for the Acclaimed was be big enough losers that writing raps dissing them would be REALLY easy. But I'm sure that is part of their brilliance, right? Jay Lethal had that lame ass run as ROH world champion not because he was basically all they had left, no, it was so that 4 years later Max Caster could make fun of him for it, it was all part of his master plan!

I thought that after the Elite defeated Death Triangle, that they would start feuding with the HOB, with HOB ultimately defeating them and winning Trios Championships, but with the return of Adam Cole, that might not be the case anymore. Plus HOB is in this feud with Ortiz and Eddie. So idk, we will probably get Undisputed vs the Elite or The Kingdom with Adam Cole vs the Elite first and then HOB will be next up. I'm quite sure that they probably want Elite to hold the titles for a min and then drop them and there's no better trios right now then the HOB. My thing is TK better capitalize while they're hot!!!

Not a fan of how much Kings of the Black Throne were dominated. I thought bringing them back as firm opponents of all faces and heels would see a revival of that original, dominant version of Malakai Black when he debuted against Cody Rhodes. We need dominance and control from this stable.

I'd agree with you normally, but Kingston is also one of those guys who is a "fight to the bitter end" kind of guy. His trademark is never giving up, and going balls to the wall, overcoming the odds, and even in a loss bringing it to the other guy. Given how even the HoB promo was about "bringing out the old Eddie", this could be the first step into that

@@supercyguy2445 That’s a fair point, especially given how Kingston has been booked over the last year. You’ve got a good argument of the wider angle and it’s consistent for Eddie. Perhaps book House of Blacn against different opponents that they can dominate and not just face characters or plain jobbers. Also, to have them genuinely function as a kind of non-heel and non-face antiheroes with a mix of opponents from both sides. And when they are going against proper tough guy gimmicks like Kingston, make it appear a bit more of a combination of dominance and concession rather than something that comes across as them barely hanging on and then relying on an underhanded mind game for the win. I really think given the time frame and all, Malakai now needs a proper run as a dominant and ominous figure with a single’s belt while the King and Matthews get a run with the tag titles. For Malakai, this is likely the best option as he doesn’t have a lot of years - in ring terms - as a relatively fresh and young athlete.

@@ordohereticus3427 I don't disagree, and I do think titles are coming their way. I called it with a buddy a while ago, but I think it's HoB that takes the Trios off the Elites. As much as I love the idea of Malakai getting a big solo push, I feel like Malakai/Brody is a better tag than Brody/Buddy. Malakai/Brody tag champs could be a thing (and would generate a TON of heat for taking it off the Acclaimed), and Buddy could possibly be the AAC champ off of Orange Cassidy as well
