This was such a pleasant vid. Very laid back. I'm from north Louisiana and this shows the world how we live. Relax and look around at what GOD gave us.

You guys are the most wholesome couple and family out there on the Internet. I want to say I have the same thing with my wife here in Southern California. She is my best best fishing buddy 🥰
Another great video, that's called southern hospitality at its finest. You guys Vinnie and Jared are my 3 favorite channels, love the collaborations,,,, keep up the great work my friends.
Looked like some good time at the camp, makes it hard to go back to work when the weekend is gone. When we first moved to Houma we went in the swamps with swamp Annie, then we explored more when we bought a boat. Still miss those times but your videos bring some those times back for sure. Thanks for sharing you and your family are blessings. Ray
I'm 77 yrs old and been fishing since knee high to a grasshopper and I HAVE NEVER caught nor seen caught a mullet in the mouth always foul hooked if caught by hook... that was incredible footage...you guys provide the perfect stress relief TV,,,btw those puppy goo drum are fantastic if fixed on the half shell like redfish on the grill...from Texas
Growing up, we used to catch mullet all the time on cane poles. We'd chum the waters with plant-based items. Basically, you toss out rabbit food into the water. Then, you take a stiff pole and hang a rope out with a mess bag filled with bread and a few rocks or broken bricks. The mullet are plant eaters and come in to feed. They almost never take corks under. The cork will flutter as they feed. When the cork flutters, that is when you set the hook. We always would soak them in salt water overnight and then either fry them or smoke them. The gizzard are such a treat to eat. This is my first time watching your channel. My buddy, Ricky, with the Wallace Knifeworks and Homestead channel, always talks about y'all. Then I saw y'all on Vinny's channel. Sorry I was so hard-headed and late to the game, but I'm subscribed now!
That's our first time catching mullet on a fishing pole. We don't usually target mullet unless we are using them for cut bait. It's usually pretty easy to catch a mess of them with a cast net. Thanks for coming along!
Another great episode. Drake has grown so much in the past year. Love the channel, I look forward to Sunday evenings. Have a great week, see y'all next Sunday.
