Great information, thanks!!! However, in response to gluconeogenesis, I believe its only the glycerol backbone of triglycerides that can be concerted into glucose. The fatty acid portion of the triglyceride can be converted into ketone bodies. I may be wrong or misunderstood, but just thought I would point out. Thank you again though for the amazing information!! :)

Same concern here. Lipids don't participate in gluconeogenesis, if I'm not mistaken. Amino acids, not fat, enter the Krebs cycle and are shunted into the gluconeogenic pathway.

Alternative Explanation: when coritsol is high, inflammation is suppresed to reduce "brain fog" from cytokines, for higher sharpness/alertness of the brain to function briskly..? Really nice video :)

Hi, I would like to ask about how does CRH affect the secretion of Ggonadotropin hormones? Can it disrupt women's menstrual cycle?

shivi bhatia,Do you mean your Adrenal glands do not work? Have you been diagnosed with either Addison’s disease or Adrenal Insufficiency? The end result of these diseases or rather the signs and symptoms that we deal with this patients are identical the difference in the names only comes from where in the body the malfunction begins: So in the case of Addison’s disease it is the adrenal glands which stop working Adrenal Insufficiency (Also called or also known as secondary Addison’s Disease, The pituitary gland specifically the cells that produce adrenocorticotropic hormone or ACTH die and without that constant circadian rhythm the adrenals within a matter of a year or less begin to atrophy andThe end result is the same as I said at the beginning you need to be on replacement medication for which ever layers of your adrenal cortex no longer produces these essential hormones that she was talking about and actually They are critically important and as we’ve learned more and more we realize now that they are not just hormones they are also critical neurotransmitters. I am not Giving you this advice as a doctor I am a fellow patient and I learned pretty quickly that if I wanted to remain alive and believe me I do I need to learn everything I could about what was happening to my body because I was I let me just say I’m lucky to be here very lucky in my case I must have Hydrocortisone in a pill form every day. The farm pharmaceutical name for this medication is Cortef and the standard dose that teenager or an adult needs is between 20 to 30 mg per day more than that more than 30 mg a day is dangerous over a long period of time because you’ll begin to slowly behave as patients behave when they were put on higher higher amounts of corticosteroids to stop a very aggressive damaging disease in its tracks I’m sure you know someone in your family who’s had to be put on prednisones because of some kind of inflammatory disease and it is a lifesaver but it can only be used for a couple certain period of time and then patients must be tapered very slowly off of these higher levelsLevels of corticosteroid because if they are stopped all of a sudden they will go into something called adrenal crisis which is a serious medical Emergency. surely she has a slide with the title take me to fax over tonight about 3/4 of the way no 2/3 of the way through the whole video and it actually speaks about the danger of being on high-level’s of corticosteroid overtime now. The big difference between a patient like me and thousands of others who have Addison’s disease or adrenal insufficiency our adrenal glands cannot produce corticosteroids so all we are taking each day is the replacement amount that our body would ordinarily produce and that is really realReally important point remember earlier I was talking about teenagers and adults should not be on a dose daily dose total daily dose any higher than 20 to 30 mg when you go above 30 mg for more than a month if you had healthy adrenals that are just fatigued rather than having adrenals it actually do not work. The illness gets worse so I don’t know if you have adrenal fatigue which is one of thoseStress related conditions that the modern life unfortunately predisposes us too but adrenal fatigue is very different from Addison’s disease or adrenal insufficiency in the case of those two conditions you must take a physiologic replacement dose of of Cortef each day The most common way that endocrinologist have their patients take this to imitate the way that that normal circadian rhythm as closest possible first thing in the morning like around 6 AM 7 AM you take about 15 mg and then at noon or 1130 or 12 you take 10 mg and about 3 PM 5 mg some people like how they feelWith three doses a day and some people just take 15 mg at that morning does early morning dose and then another 10 or 12 mg around 2 PM No you can work with your endocrinologist and see how you feel taking it twice a day or taking it three times today but sure that you stay below 30 mg per day and if you are a smaller purse in the sea very thin you may be closer to 20 mg that’s me that may be all you need to get you through each day now if you also cannot produce mineralocorticoids like aldosterone then there is a medication for that it’s called fludrocortisone and people just take 2 mg one and ahalf to 2 mg of that first thing in the morning and that’s all they need you can also purchase the DHEAWhich is made by the innermost layer of the adrenal cortex and I am a woman so I only take 10 mg a day and I feel good on that dose. hope you found help in the year since you left your comment I just found this this evening and I responded to you so soon as I saw your message I really wish you well I hope you don’t have what I have because it really is scary it’s a lot more than just taking your daily dose every day as the years have gone by I have to take stress doses more often I have to make sure that I always have an emergency injection kit with me at all times I have to wear a MedicAlert bracelet. pain in the butt but you know I’m here I’m alive I’m with my children with my husband with my family and my friends and I think God that he has given me this time with them it’s wonderful even though I had to stop working and I loved what I did but God bless you and I hope you get this message take here be well by the way sorry for the typos but I’m dictating this because I’m really tired and it’s almost my bedtime that’s another thing you never really feel like yourself again so
