I keep getting mad at my (Native American Shawnee Shaman) for dying before I could introduce him to the Hu. Bummer. He's probably listening with his Ancestors.
How in the ever-loving twisting love of fate did these two bands find each other? Every one of those lyrists on that stage DESERVES to be there! Stunning...they need to do studio time together! TAKE...MY...MONEY!
What doesn't come through in this video is how spiritual of a moment this was. No recording can capture that. In that room we all felt something. I was standing right in front of that stage and felt like I was looking up into the great beyond, into ancient history, at a single entity singing for all of humanity to hear. Say what you want about how it sounds different with Lzzy, but I haven't had a feeling that powerful listening to music in a very long time.
I picked it up a bit. I'm so disappointed in myself for waiting too long to try to get tickets when they were in Dallas. I hope there are many future opportunities to do so.
@@ErikHernandezPhotography absolutely! I underestimated their popularity, I gotta say and it was on a week day. Kinda assumed I'd be able to put it off until the last minute and I'd be okay. But, it sold out maybe a week before. I was so mad at myself.
@@medboflight I've done that several times. You'll get another chance, they're building a fanbase one city at a time. They conquered Nashville last night 😎
The most beautiful song dedicated to women is performed by a great band that believes in its roots and in its value, Lzzy Hale has added an extra note making this melody unique
I'm still amazed that people are still seeing this. Just a phone video because I was on assignment shooting the show for the HU. Thank you for watching✌️
Some songs are destined to be sold on CDs and via the music download sites... Some... are meant to be EXPERIENCED... and I think this performance is a prime example of a song that truly is to be experienced. Having honest to goodness ARTISTS, like The HU and Lzzy Hale, collaborating on a special song like this... you can't put a price on that... and that's what we're looking at... real, honest to God "ART". No auto-tune... no real bland old tired beats and formulas that everyone's heard before... but a very real performance that lays the very spirit of the original song, wide open for the audience to embrace and feel... Simply magnificent...
Gala was in Mongolia, singing in the mountains, playing the sacred horse head fiddle. Now, millions upon millions of human beings are hearing this, from the sacred lands, comes the rise of the human beings. For all of our peoples. Make no mistake, waste no time, we must take our lives and world back.
I love this honoring of the mother earth, the woman of all women, nurturers of the world, the vibration & heart beat that sustains all life. So spiritual & powerful . The Hu sound is so primal and earthy, it resonates within the core of every spirit, human and animal. Have always loved Lizzy Hale & her powerful, beautiful voice. Loving what the Mongolian Chant & sound is bringing. The two together are practically magical. NICE JOB!!
Lyrics by LZZY Hale: I am bones and I am skin I am home, where life begins I’ve started wars, I’ve given peace Across the ocean, I carry the seed I’m your lover I’m your mother I’m Your sister I’m your daughter When Kings fall to their knees They Sing a woman’s song When birds scream in the trees They Sing a woman’s song The sunrise in the east Sings a woman’s song Every Heart that beats Sings a woman’s song I am fire I am water I am empress I am thunder I am flower I am wonder I’m the object Of your desire I am beauty I am grace I am faith… When Kings fall to their knees They Sing a woman’s song When birds scream in the trees They Sing a woman’s song The sunrise in the east Sings a woman’s song Every Heart that beats Sings a woman’s song Every heart beats a woman’s song Every heart beats a woman’s song Every heart beats a woman’s song Every heart beats a woman’s song
Thank you. I thought this was an honor song for women. Makes me proud of the Mothers of my tribes and all of humanity. Nataahendé Mescalero Apache here. They say my people came from Mongolia but their music lights up my Viking Genetic Memory, Not Apache. "Well excuse me; mama was a 'Brave-Hunter."🤷 Yes I'm Apache/Viking; care for a roll of tp with that knowledge? 🤣🤣🤣 Love from the USA and Native America ✌🦅🌲🇺🇸
A promise made by mother so long ago will be fulfilled.love honour family true friendship our future together .we miss our 7 nation Army who is spread across the 4 corners waiting to bring justice with a sword.the animals saved you now protect them .I've got your back now forever I serve you.the nightmare is over the dream about to begin.happy New year we are home.
When i walked thru the front door of The Exit Inn, Nashville Tennessee. I had know idea that i would be a front row witness to this video. Life is crazy.....
I don't think its so much that nobody wanted. It's more like nobody could see it happening. Just the remix of Wolf Totem with Jacoby. I never in a million years saw that collaboration happening but it did and it's not bad.
This is so intense I am in tears. The Hu make Magik; its beyond Music. Lizzy H adding her words, voice and Spirit takes it even higher. I am moved n transformed. Be Blessed in all good things.
I absolutely love the HU. Found them way back on my crazy, random RU-vid searches for atypical metal bands. Lzzy is, well Lzzy, one of the greatest female artists of the past century; up there with the likes of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks, Ann Wilson, Amy Lee, Whitney Houston, etc. Epic company across all genres; she is that good (I have the T shirt too! LOL). This is an amazing capture and would hope they do something more in the future. Thanks for sharing an epic moment!
I can't think of a better woman to represent this song than Lzzy Hale !!! She represents what a modern day woman defines. Her whole essence and being and what she stands for defines a woman.
Thanks for the ❤. On this nite. It had been 1000 days since i last seen my daughter. Hopefully her taste in music like mine will someday bring her around to read this comment. Because she will be a woman. I love you Emma, and I'm sorry for what your mom did to us... I know it wasn't your fault..Forever Dad. Dear Daughter......
At a certain point it felt as if she was allowed to howl with the wolves. So much energy in this song! Respect! I was very scared to listen to this song with an American vocalist with it, but gosh, this was amazing! This IS amazing! I'm listening and watching on repeat. I can't look away. It started off a bit messy, it took a bit before they were all on the same page, but when that happened, when that hit, this sucked me in and I feel blessed this collab happened and was done so perfectly live! And I'm humbled I get to watch it and enjoy it. Thank you! Big fan!
Cant express my feeling the wonder of Lizzy’s powerful voice right after the Hu’s part in the beginning. Sounds such a unique. It’s simply the best vocal i have been get from live concerts. Go the Hu. It’s your show time mates🤘🏻🙏🏻
For a second I thought this song was of my Mother. She is intelligent, 5'2 small, gentle. But can be fierce as Hell and the arguments (yelling at each other) oh by the Gods they can be fierce. So in a sense a woman is a Warrior in her own way. This song just got to me! Thank you.
I enjoyed the diversity and how everyone enjoyed it together.Really nice to see people getting along and just taking in the music. The sing along in the crowd when System of a Down was on the speakers was cool to see.
That bit at the end where they were all just shouting ‘hu hu hu hu!’ 😋 Dudes may not be able to speak anything but Mongolian, but with a name like that, the audience has no trouble expressing its appreciation
