The Hu already had this song, but they wanted to update the lyrics the to be more appealing to western audiences. So they reached out to Lzzy and basically said “have at it!” I’d say it worked. What a *powerful* song!!!
I think SueSue hit the nail on the head. After hearing them threaten to demolish anything that comes at them in Wolf Totem, they do a 360-degree turn with this tribute to the power of women and mothers in particular. Lzzy is the perfect singer to show just how powerful we can be. ❤️🇨🇦
In their Wolf Totem, The Hu saying in the song, if you threaten Mongolia, we will fight you to protect their lands. In this song, they sing about their important women in their lives: their mothers. Lizzy even posted a photo of her when she was a baby with her mother. I gotten very emotional because I am thinking of my mother, who is 84. The Hu has toured here in the states.
Wolf, I agree, they are great. They were awesome in concert too when I saw them. I mentioned it in my comment yesterday, but if you haven't seen it, the Morin Khuur, or Horseheads fiddle is the 2 string. Lzzy Hale, her given name is Elizabeth May Hale. One of Halestorm's early superfans ,was also a huge Ozzy fan. That fan started stylizing her name as Lzzy, and it stuck. A beautiful song, Lzzy wrote the English lyrics for this version. The pictures are the actual baby pictures of the band ,and Lzzy, with their own mothers. Yuve Yuve Yu is the song you're talking about. The original and the one with Danny Case(From Ashes to New) , are both awesome.🤘🤘
what a beautiful song and message........this collaboration is completely mezmerizing.......I know I say the same thing to each reaction.....because the song just moves me strongly.........
I believe the two string instrument is a Morin Khuur, very old traditional Mongolian instrument. Sounds great. I did not know, looked it up, as your request piqued my interest.
Hello Sue Sue and the Wolfman. I can see that you love the music of the Hu so please may I suggest that you listen to this one as well:- The HU - Mother Nature ft. LP (Official Music Video). You will love it I know.
I think I really liked listening to this. As it continues to plow through the night with no sleep yet, comments are hard to pull out. Liked you 2 still as every time. Thank you for another good one. 🙏🙏🙏
So glad you guys are both enjoying them. Hope to see you do more. The name “Hu” is the root word for human being in Mongolian. You should probably also check out some Halestorm at some point too. I Miss the Misery was the song that first got me started on them.
@@SueSueandthewolfman you did another song with Lzzy Hale with Daughtry, covering Journey’s Separate Ways, but I don’t recall seeing any Halestorm, unless maybe it got blocked.
… and it continues. They just released Mother Earth with LP. Their voices are their instruments with throat singing. The deep to the high…they we not whistling
