I am coming to the conclusion that when Tony Iommi goes home to his palatial mansion he lights a cigar in front of the room-sized fireplace, pours himself a glass of Domaine Leroy Musigny Grand Cru and genuflects in front of his Chris Alo shrine.

Fun show, but as nice as it was listening to the picks of everyone on the panel, I have to say that Chris' Batman tangent was probably my favorite part of this episode. Laughed so hard; Between what was said, and the awkward reactions of a few other people on the panel at the direction things 'seemed' to be going...oh, it was a blast! The appearance of Nick's daughter was adorable.

Nick, the choice of Ram It Down was fantastic! Wow! I agree with Butch. The way you presented it made it make sense, totally. It's easily the best track of that album and I remember being so disappointed with it when it came out because Defenders is also my favorite JP album and I wanted more of that. But, still, that opening track has stood the test of time. It was good then and it's good now. That choice was for sure the most interesting and eye opening one in this episode. Thanks, Nick!

Now this shows why Hudson Valley Squares is must see TV. Fun topic with everyone involved. Enjoyed the entire episode but some particular favorites - Steve reintroducing the episode as a Batman movie discussion, Sidney laughing so hard at all the carryings on, Nick's passion and discussion of his choices but the topper may be Chris hitting the throttle, taking a runaway train completely off the rails and giving everyone - the rest of the Squares and all of us - an unbelievable ride. Thanks to everyone for their lists and looking forward to another part of this [and hoping that Lynn and Rich can return for that]. Most of my first choices seem to have been listed somewhere by the commenters but will offer up the following [and apologies if duplicates}. School's Out by Alice Cooper Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits Flirtin' With Disaster by Molly Hatchet And, to match Chris for the Black Sabbath first album song/album/band trifecta - Bad Company x 3. Thanks, folks fur all the fun. And Pete, please do this on an In The Prog Seat Episode and take the Batman movie critique with Chris over to Comic Book Geezers.

Sydney, As a guy in his early 50s, you do not want to be our age. I would kill to go back to my early 20s with all the knowledge I have now. I definitely would tweak a few things and enjoy my life even more than I already did. Just enjoy all the music and continue on with your music career. It is obvious that you have a ton knowledge on this topic. I wish you much success. By the way, your list of title tracks is almost perfect. Highway to Hell, High N Dry, and Breaking the Chains are on my list, too.

Here’s a funny one! Four title tracks that ended up on the “wrong” albums 😀 The Doors: Waiting For The Sun (Morrison Hotel) Queen: Sheer Heart Attack (News Of The World) Led Zeppelin: Houses Of The Holy ( Physical Graffiti) The Mothers Of Invention: Absolutely Free (We’re Only In It For The Money) Are there more? Join in if you know some others. ☀️

Hey Pete I really love your show! Fun topics, hilarious guests such as Chris Alo. However I have found a lot of the recent Hudson valley video topics lead to the same bands you and your guests normally talk about. I just find a lot of the shows are becoming more predictable in what your choices could be. I love most of the bands you do, Purple, Whitesnake, Sabbath, Heep, Rainbow, etc… I love albums such as Burn, Whitesnake 87, Rainbow Rising and heaven and hell. But a lot of your topics lead back to those core bands, songs and albums you guys talk about normally. For example, for this title track video, I know you love all eras of Deep Purple. How about pick a later title track such as Rapture Of The Deep, just to keep the show unpredictable. Burn is my favorite song from them, but I’ve heard it come up in several videos. Anyways I’m not telling you to run your channel, however if I could ask to try and add more variety in everyone’s picks ( I was just using your bands as an example, Butch always mentions Thin Lizzy and UFO, Lynn almost always mentions queensryche. ) Fantastic bands! It’s just I kinda know what to expect from the show whenever I click on now. The surprise is nice, thats all I’m saying.

Have been on a bit of a King Diamond kick as of late, and though most of my picks have already been chosen (in the show, and in the comment section), I don't believe anyone has chosen "Melissa" yet from the first Mercyful Fate album. Fantastic song, from a legendary album. An honourable mention to Iron Fist from Motorhead as well.

Had a similar experience to Butch. First concert was Thin Lizzy in 1979, Black Rose tour. Ticket was £3, t-shirt was £3.50 (programme was 65 pence). Few on my list would be - UFO - Lights Out Yes - Going For The One Whitesnake - Saints & Sinners Kate Bush - The Dreaming.

Holy hell, there are so many amazing title tracks to choose from. I'll pick five of the ones that are the most important for me personally, not that I think they are the best title track the band released. Metallica - Ride the Lightning The first metal track I ever heard, at the age of six. Any and all metal that I have ever listened to in my life can look back at the timeline and it all starts here. When the intro kicked in, I was blown away as I had never heard anything like that before. I was hooked immediately. Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark The second metal track I ever heard, same age as before. I assumed it was a Metallica song, because I had never heard anything like this before outside of Metallica. Still remains a top five favourite Maiden track for me. Unfortunately, my favourite Maiden song is not a title track. Motorhead - Ace of Spades Not the most original choice, but this was the first Motorhead track that I remember hearing. Still remains a favourite of mine. It's short, to the point and a lot of fun. Judas Priest - Painkiller My favourite Priest album and the title track is my second favourite Priest song. An absolute belter, this album was my gateway into Judas Priest. I had heard a couple of other songs, like Breaking the Law and You've Got Another Thing Comin', but this song was the defining moment for me, particularly as a young kid who wanted his metal fast and heavy at all times. Once I heard this, it was "yup, this is definitely a band I can listen to more" and I have never looked back. I think I first heard this around the age of ten or eleven. Rammstein - Mutter This might be an odd choice, so let me explain. When I was a young child, my mother didn't want me listening to metal such as Metallica and Slayer, because she thought it would be full of foul language. However, Rammstein was a band that I could listen to in abundance because I didn't understand German at all (still don't really), so this song & album holds a special place in my heart because I listened to this a lot as a kid. Every once in a while I'll throw the album on in the car and it makes me feel something special.

The best run of title tracks IMO is Motörhead, Overkill, Bomber, Ace of Spades and Iron Fist. Brilliant. That could be my 5. Another 5 that spring to mind: Kiss - Creatures of the Night Alter Bridge - Blackbird Cheap Trick - Dream Police Avenged Sevenfold - Hail to the King Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith PS: I agree with Chris on Dark Knight Returns, and his choice of Ben Affleck.

Here's 5 of my favorite title tracks 1. Chevelle - Hats Off to the Bull 2. Green Day - American Idiot 3. Deftones - Diamond Eyes 4. Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American 5. Make Them Suffer - How to Survive a Funeral Honorable mentions 1. Incubus - Make Yourself 2. Maroon 5 - Hands All Over 3. Metric - Live It Out 4. Panic! At The Disco - Death of a Bachelor 5. Rise Against - The Unraveling Also want to give a shoutout to All We Know by Paramore and Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance which are not exactly title tracks as the names differ by a few words. I also want to give another shoutout to Nick Franco. I was watching the 10 best of 2020 video with Nick, Pete, and Steve the other day and was inspired to check out the Havukruunu album from 2020. That album is amazing.

Pete! Love the Nazareth choice! Not a tremendous album, but the track is solid 7-8 years ahead of its time and just SO SO damn good! My five: Nazareth's "Expect No Mercy", Uriah Heep's "Look at Yourself", Mahavishnu Orchestra's "Birds of Fire", Lizzy Borden's "Love You to Pieces", and Toxik's "World Circus"
