Hugs are not fruity, hippy nonsense! They are a powerful life-giving tool that facilitators can work into their programs or into their interactions with individual interactions with participants to achieve powerful results!
i have my own backstory how i was given one of her books....The Little Book of Hugs....i left chicago to head to forth worth texas in search of spiritual quest ...ended up in a women shelter for a short time ...i was not a battered victim of abuse... which i told the social worker my personal my reason of my journey ..something in her saw something in me ..and she let me stay there temporarily ...at that YWCA ...i did get a job part time to work while i paid my partial rent ..made friends there as well ...much i dont remember of the details of how and when of my stay there but that book i kept to this very day i lost her name and address..hope someday you find me ...I never forgot you
