Then there is the unstuck ping, they say ping them if you are stuck and you might get unstuck. Pinged daily for 30 days and never got unstuck just to prove that pinging admins is a waste of time. ended up getting unstuck since I had a friend that knew the admin
Nowadays I just hit F2 and record, not to post or report mind you, that's not worth it in this game. I record so I can rewatch and find out the names of hackers or suspicious gameplay, 9 times out of 10 its a chinese player(s) using burner steam accounts.
And that, my children, is why you don’t save videogame characters with variable stats on client side. Like the first rule for making a good multiplayer game.
It will always be in memory. Having it client sided is okay, the problem occurs when the server does not propely check if the values the client is sending are indeed correct and not modified.
@@altercard5389that’s true, there is protection against hackers. It’s like that crocodile dentist game. The hacker changes small things until it gets detected. He also indentifies the triggers what sets the ban off.
I have a suspicion that the devs are actually the hackers and killing players on purpose. It's ironic that they're refusing or not respond and will not allow recording to allow you to collect information on the rb players hackers in order to stop this existing problem. Think about it, when ever a dev has ever answered, they do it the moment the hacker disappears a majority of the time.
I have a suspicion that they are profiting from the hack business in one way or another. There's just no way any self-respecting devs could be so careless about their game.
Hackers on every official server ruining hours of growth for everyone they cross almost everyday, but that’s not a priority. Changing the camera zoom is obviously the most important change needed, according to the “devs”. At this point, I legit think they don’t know how to solve the hacker situation.
The Isle devs are likely profiting from the hack business. There's just no way that they and the admins can be this inept at dealing with hack tool users. I have been tracking and recording numerous hackers in the game(F2), know their steam IDs etc, and still they are running around with impunity after months. If I were an admin I'd have detected and wiped out these hackers with ease, so why can't the actual admins?
I don’t get the enjoyment of growing something for 2 hours to loose it in like 5 minutes because you don’t understand the combat very well or a hacker takes you out. In games like day z I think perma death is fine because the whole time you are playing to your full potential while in the isle, only after the 2 hours of growth is where you really get to have fun.
Semi realism is trash, the rules are not even realistic and there are far too many of them. Considering the fact that this guy goes around as teno to pick fights in his videos, I doubt he would want to waste his time playing semi-realism where herbivore players are forced to sit around and allow carnivores to attack them first before fighting back, and are then not even allowed to use the environment such as rivers to help defend themselves, AND have to stop fighting the predator if that predator 4 calls or runs away
@@AgentMercer you’ve exaggerated the rules but herbis not initiating fights for no reason is definitely a good one imo, ive actually had way more fun and balanced action on semi realism server than officials. In one day i was in a herd with 6 tenos and we got legit stalked and hunted by people taking their role as stealthy hunters seriously, not just facetanking for the lulz. One herdi broke his leg and 3 ceras we thought we lost in the jungle 10 mins proor insta pounced on him when he layed down. We fought off a pack of dilos, carnos and more ceras who invaded our nesting grounds and did indeed kill them all. Its preference i suppose but what i like, 1: people actually nest very often 2: finding a pack or a herd is insanely easy with more population 3: you dont have to worry about mixpacking carnivores roaming the same areas they instead have territory wars and can not hunt together. 4: cheaters tend to get banned! There are a few rules i dont agree with but overall ill take semi realism over cheating, mixpacking, serial killing herbi land that is officials
exactly! nothing about their semi-realism is even remotely real. I'd rather spend my days trying to not get killed by hackers that try to navigate their rules.@@AgentMercer

This problem popped up on Legacy as well back before Evrima but with even less options for a time. You were forced to choose between playing how you want but with hackers and mix packers, or playing on strict rules servers which you don't want to be restricted by, but they also managed the issues plaguing officials. It sucks that the game has just decided to let communities police themselves from hackers of all things lol
Dont understand why people still play this and legacy, the devs hate you and the playerbase is toxic, gameplay loop is a job in itself and hackers are mega present when all of the isle alternatives have literally none. Feels like people still play it just cause it was the first and it has a unused book full of "lore"
