Dave thank-you for Bank Fishing! I don't have a boat and the kayaks sold in this area are just too small for me. I am so glad to see you on the bank and running campers off the bank is inspiring.
James Leslie if you do won’t a kayak the 10’ ones at Walmart say 250lb limit but a buddy of mine has one and I weigh 280 and it floats just as good with me in it as it does him and he weighs 200 had the price isn’t bad

Whew, that's a nice Catfish..Holy Crap... that's a beauty... it is a blue or a channel. I can't tell the difference yet. Orig from KY. Thought I was catching Channel Cats but truth is I don't know. Caught cats from the OHIO River and also Dale Hollow Lake. Didn't catch that many cats, just a few. Thanks Dave that was a great fish... it's officially a catfiishing video.
You need to get a thermacell, they work great for keeping the mosquitoes away. I keep two of em in the truck at all times. Congrats on another great fish.
My favorite thing is catfishing AND watching catfish Dave. Absolutely love your videos. My personal best is a 46 lb blue and a 45 lb flathead. PLEASE NEVER STOP bank fishing never stop your video's
My nephew and I missed you by a day. We sat in the rain the day before about 25 yrds closer to the dam. We caught 2 nothing to brag about though. Nice catch!
Wow what a head on a blue.. nice healthy fish i bet he was pushing closer to 50 lbs. Pretty sure a few of them skeeters were hatched from a Terodactyle. One in particular when you brushed off your shirt..
Dave come fish Pickwick dam on Pickwick lake with me and we'll catch some monsters .we have some very big cats .lots of them .the fishing is the same as u do in East TN .no difference.good places to stay and eat and a heck of a place to catch monster cats .

I know it may sound crazy but an old farmer told me once to get a cheap vanilla scented car air freshener and the skeeters will leave you alone. I tried and it works out for me. I just get the cheapest ones.

Nice catch I cant find anything close to the size here in ohio unless u go to a paylake and that ain't for me...probly would have caught more with a demon dragon tho...hahaha
Just don't spray it on your skin. Put it on your hat or your clothes , never on your skin. Your skin will absorb, while the scent will linger longer on the clothing, same as deodorants put them on your clothes not on the skin
