I own a discontinued mora triflex with a rubbery handle. Very nice knife. Was around $30usd if I remember correctly. Anyway, I think an economically price knife will do most of the things most of the people will need a knife to do most of the time. Can you spend a lot more money on a bushcraft knife? Of course. But you get, in my opinion, diminishing returns at some point. I still really like the ok4 and, at least here in the usa, they are pretty rare and it therefore has a certain coolness to it that the more ubiquitous budget mora's just don't have. And, you are quite welcome.

First, so sorry about not replying in a timely fashion. This channel is small enough that I reply to all of them but this must have snuck by me. As for your question, I don't own the mora hd so I can't honestly answer. I own a 1/2 dozen moras the nicest of which is the kansbol which I would totally take over the ok4. That said, I think the ok4 is the equal of the moras I own that are similarly priced. Thanks for the comment and, again, sorry it wasn't timely.

@@THCone I think he means the hultafors heavy duty gk, It's a fantastic knife very reliable, strong and cheap. Mora pro robust is its equal imo.

Don't know, never tried. My guess is you could rig something with 550 cord, but for it to be really secure I'd think you'd have to pony up for an aftermarket sheath.

It isn't MOLLE compatible per se, but I just checked, you can unclip the sheath (i.e., to take the nylon off) and reclip it over normally spaced pals webbing. I would not consider it a "soldier's knife" by any means.

Yes, it will wear off quickly, but a minor issue given the cost of the knife. Consider it a type of earned patina and it will sting less. Thanks for the comment.

@@THCone I'm just worried about the rust once the coating wears off, since this is carbon steel. Otherwise, no brainer for the price.

@@djijomurdjevic Coating or no coating, you are going to have to be more careful- in terms of rust prevention- with a carbon blade then you would with a stainless blade. So the fact that the coating on OK4 isn't super durable is sort of a moot issue for me. ymmv
