Thanks for this. This is now (25th July 2022, patch 1.18) doable also with mazda vision gt3, medium tyres, 2x stops at 10th and 20th lap. Only put enough fuel for 10 laps. Fuel map set on 1, zero TC (I used the controller FYI) clocking around 1:57-1:58 per lap, just a couple I managed to do 1:56
thanks for this video. I will try BRZ next time because in your video I found BRZ was fast in corner. I have tried it twice. 1st run: I use C7, but this car is not good at cornering, and I used the wrong tire: the HARD. But it seems the fuel is not enough for 1 pit stop, so I have to change my strategy in the middle of the race, I ended up with 14th place with lap timing: 159-200 on H 158-159 on M 2nd run: I use RX vision, this time I use two stop strategy but I made a mistake: I pit until I ran out of fuel, the lap time of the last 2-3 lap is realy slow, so I end up with 12th place. I think we have to pit with AI or before AI so that we can keep them behind all the way.

Finally someone that uses a controller and AT transmission gunna give this a go.best i've done is 15th i get up to 5th then pit and its backwards from there.
Using hand controller the MAZDA RX VISION GT3 CONCEPT, pitted 10 & 20 laps, I led first pit, 2nd pit I was 5th, finished 11th - fuel Map 1, on Hard difficulty. Did a few 1.59sec 2min, but could not achieve that after pitting, I know I have to keep practising but I'm convinced there is a glitch to this race. It's the only GOLD I have not got.
Tried this race so many times, at about 30 minutes in the AI just seem to fly past you like you’re not even there. It’s like there’s a difficultly spike for the last half hour…
Is it with this strategy? Anyway the AI is a little inconsistent. The first time when I lost by 6s, third place was 12s behind me. For the second try, they were all much closer to each other. And the leading AI was different for each race.
@@JonathanAlex27 finally got 1st ytd with 73% fuel on pit2 using AMG, luckily the M6 slowed down by the crowded after pit2 , won by 5s with 0 fuel left 😂 thanks for the strategy
Catching the first place was impossible I already set the difficuilty to hard (because of the AI bug) but it seems that it doesnt matter because when I first had to pit stop after 10 rounds the first place was 19 seconds ahead. Its so frustrating because I had so much trouble with the Autopolis race and after thst I went through the next races like nothing. Now Im stuck on the last mission :c I mean I havent tried your setup yet but I will give it a try tomorrow :3
May I ask what is your average lap time? 19s isn’t so bad considering that the first placed AI at the start is usually not the winner. And yes, Autopolis was a hard one (and boring!)
@@JonathanAlex27 I did a decent run a few hours ago with a new best lap time of 1:57:780 but my average lap time is about 1:58-1:59 I tried it with the Peugeot and the Renault but I wasnt successfull with both cars
@@Kazuto_Wildcat Oh that’s quite decent! Not a must to be first by the end of stint one imo, my 2nd placed AI wasn’t even in the top 14 at the start lol I think you should be able to make it, all the best!
@@JonathanAlex27 Yeah I just have to keep trying. The most frustrating thing is when you dont make it and you get upset about this one hour you just spend for nothing. (Had this multiple times on Autopolis where I ended up on 5th place, 2 times on 2nd and one on 3rd) Ill do a couple of tries tomorrow after work with a few other cars and hope for the best
There is some turbo lag. You might want to try the porsche or nissan instead and also use the low refueling technique. (but of course the how much to refuel might change) The brz does take a while to get used to.
@@JonathanAlex27 I came from the mercedes to the brz and it is way faster in the corners but the Mercedes is a bullet, so wich is better actually porsche or nissan? i tried this race with 3 different cars and i cant win it😭
Ahhhhhh... I was just having my best attempt yet and once again the AI rammed me into the gravel at the bottom of the hill. There goes another hour of my time.
This seems so broken at the moment. I tried again last night, was 1st by 6 seconds as I came in on the second stint, lap 20. Put on fresh Meds and refueled for another 10 laps and came out in 13th, only managed to claw a few places back up to 9th to finish because the AI either seem to do lightning fast pits or don't pit at all! I can't work it out. I feel like I'm wasting hours!
@@JonathanAlex27 thanks, i did the BZR but also tried the Toyota VGT which was what set those lap times but best I could manage was 6th. I’ve raced the whole game on Hard, I feel I’m a pretty good racer but cannot beat this race sadly. I will try Easy but I’ll feel it’ll be a cheap victory if I do it 😅😅 I heard Easy was bugged. Thinking the whole race is quite buggy. The AI are way more aggressive than any other race. Been punted off 40mm sun several times 😡😡
or you could go for clear racing, wich makes this a sim-like experience rather than this arcade BS you are going for, i dislike wall-riding tactics, and ramming the AI is in the ballpark. Sure, do as you like, no shame, but ramming them is not "good advice".
