Great guide, thank you for sharing. This guide actually saved me. Both in terms of car choice and race difficulty. Did it on "normal" first, then tried on "easy", and just couldn't keep up with the AI. Was getting frustrated not finding the right car and wasting credits on setups - either great on fuel but too slow or fast enough but insane fuel consumption. Finally got the win in the Ferrari. This was by far the hardest of the "Human Comedy" challenges for me. Keep 'em coming.

I was going to try use the mini first before making this video but I just felt the ferrari would end up being a better option. It's cool to know that the mini is viable!
Just did this now with the Ferrari. Had to lower the pp down a bit more the best way possible because of the updates since this video was posted. Fuel map4 all the way and you should be pitting only once and getting around 24 laps (or more if you are skilled, unlike me 😅)
Great vids. They've all worked for me!! One suggestion for your vids would be to slow down a tad on each page. Some of them you fly through super quick and im not able to catch all of whats being shown. Having a hard time pausing or capturing a screen shot on some of these setting pages you show. Besides that, it's perfect! Thanks! :)
I actually used an Alfa thst was doing similar lap time to AI using CM tyres. 8 laps in I was battling for 6th. More rewarding IMO to be matxhed to AI. Lap 21 was up to second place and won by 1 second only because the AI was slowed by back markers in last lap, was a great race in which every braking zone mattered. Fair play to those of you that prefer the racing shown in this guide but I think you are missing out doing it this way 💪🏾
I aced first shot in the Ford Roadster! Won 20 seconds ahead, single pit no changing the comfort softs, fuel map staying on 1 and then used 2 a bit after pit until I knew when it was final lap
I've used multiple vehicles for this race and the best I've gotten is 14th, an I was using the same or a similar fueling method to yourself. So I'm curious have you used an engine swap? Or are they just upgrades from the modifications you featured? Im also curious as to how in the hell you beat the sambabus that's featured in this race, because no matter what car I'm in that thing always thrashes me. For reference I've used Sambabus: fully upgraded and I might as well have been on the moon in comparison to the one featured in the race Austin Martin DB5: 14th, this was actually the closest I came using this car, as I was 3rd for the majority of the race 25-30 minutes, until I had to pit, I ended up in 14th and could not catch them back up with the remaining time in the race as they didn't seem to pit again. Trans am: 17th Mustang boss: 14th Mach 1: 17th E type coupe: couldn't keep the car steady so gave up 300 SEL AMG 71: 15th Superbird 70: massive mistake didn't even finish the race VW beetle: even fully upgraded with restrictions in place for the race, it wasn't even close Corvette convertible c3 69: 14th 3.0 CSL 73: 14th Corvette c2 63 17th I haven't tried the 308 GTB yet so guess that's my next go round 👍
Do you have a revised setup for the 308 after the 1.13 update? I ended up having to drop onto medium tyres and increase the power to hit the 450pp limit.
Doesn't work today. Set it all up late last night and was 1.26 over on PP and had to add a few kilos. Took it for a spin - all good - then quit out. Tonight, I entered proper and was up in the high 460s for PP in the Ferrari . Took racing filter, exhaust and manifold off, reduced power as far as it would go AND added another 30 kilos or so to get under PP. Now it runs in mid pack getting hammered by the AI. PD moving goal posts in the night again no doubt following today's update.
Just finished this race. After trying many different cars, without expecting anything, I tried the 1932 Ford Roadster. It has low PP points to start and only 3 speeds. I installed racing suspension, brakes, brake pads, racing transmission and a full ECU. I consistently did 2:30 per lap on fuel map 4. I pitt with 20 min to go on the clock. I finished in fuel ma, 22 seconds ahead of second place.
I had to upgrade this car heavily (unchagable back) because I won that Ferrari and I had to have a Ferrari to win the cafes. Now when I have your PP, I have more weight, less power and no racing components. Ridiculously impossible.
Same here wished I never done the weight reduction as can't put weight up enough now and power is maxed out at 178 with semi racing and sports parts unlike his with racing everything and slotted discs lol
@@twitch5393 These cars are so soft and tyres are so bad, maybe LSD braking tune will help a lot, the tyres were fine, I think you can do the race entirely on the CS, but you can swap them in the one and only pit stop in the race. Just tune the car to be balanced because you are losing a lot of time if you're sliding since they're really hard to drive.
I just completed it in the Honda S800 winning by 40.5 seconds with 1 pit stop after lap 13 on fuel map 1 and CS tyres. By far my best result, the car just handles so much better than anything else I've tried which helps to keep the speed up. Tried the Renault R8 Gordini, Ferrari and 308 GTB and came 3rd in both races behind by ~20s in both. I think they've tapered down the performance of the Samba bus in recent patches because I remember the first time played this race ~8 months ago in I think patch 1.21 it would absolutely destroy everything after lap 8. This time I lapped it the first time in lap 16 and almost lapped it twice, in patch 1.34.
I put the same values for all the settings in the tuning. But the performance of my car is vastly different. My car is much faster in acceleration performance and shows under in stability section, with the PP being about 470.
My first 2 attempts at this one were infuriating because of how fast the AI was running, especially the VW van…I may be on the easy setting. Thanks for the setup!
Not sure when they changed the PP limit to 465 for this race but my first attempt was also infuriating so here I am checking YT for tips. Right before I rage quit at the end of lap 7, the van put in a 2:25 when all the other fastest cars and I were doing 2:29s.. So I went to the garage and bought every single performance upgrade for that van and guess what.. Max'd out at 338 pp and runs 2:45s..
Did this tonight with the Mach 1 Mustang and won with a 15 second lead to 2nd place , would have been more if I hadn't made a few mistakes, 2 stops for fuel
I found the Ferrari was not so good after you adjusted the power and weight to get it down. I used the mini cooper. It was much better on fuel, handling, and power to weight. Easily won the race. Only one pit stop. No fuel conserving and I was in the lead very quickly. A bit of a boring race.
Nice Video. Had some problems with the settings as the LP reached surprisingly 469 when I did the Upgrades and settings exactly as you explained it in your Video. Dont know if I made a mistake or they changed something with a patch meanwhile but after replacing the Comfort Softs by Comfort Mediums it was possible to use it. The Ferrari handles like a dream with your settings and your pit strategy is great. Controlled the fuel consumption a lot by lift and coast so I could do my first pit stop with 27 Minutes left and could even higher up the pace in the second stint. Finished the race almost a minute ahead of P2 (58 seconds/AI Normal). Thanks a lot. Subscribed to your channel ofc. 👍
Thanks for the video, because I am having so much trouble with this. This race highlights the absolute stupidity of Polyphony. I've tried a few different cars here and most are completely undrivable. The physics seems completely different than in a time trial, or other races, and the slightest little bump by the AI sends you off the track. The AI is terrible too, they will ignore your position and constantly drive into you. With most cars I have tried, it is a struggle just to complete a single lap, even with cars I've used in other races with the only difference being the tires. I don't know why I bother with this game.
The AC Shelby Cobra 427 detuned, ballast, wide offset wheels, 1 way LSD and a rear wing eats this race for breakfast. FM1 all the way, two stops. Mediums on the front, Soft on the rear. You have to stop and wait on the finish line to prevent it going on another lap. It laps at low 2.26s, not quite as fast as the samba bus but it’s consistent and easy to drive if you brake early, trail brake for added rotation (brake controller 3 to the rear) and let it slide around a bit for the faster times.
If you enjoy playing with the tune of cars that's great do what you need to do. If you feel like spending too much time in the menu rather than racing, do this: 1. Have 3.8 mil and go buy a legendary car "Alfa Romeo Giulia tz2". It's amazing, looks great, sounds great and drives great and needs no upgrades 2. Buy Comfort soft tires for the car and never change them as they never wear out in this particular race 3. Pit in lap 13 or around there (you will be first at that point but 2cars will race you close). Try to pit next lap after them and use fuel 2-3 to stay ahead 4. After that the race is easy and they lose time to you lap by lap. They will also pit twice 5. Personal best 2.27 and finished 38s ahead second 6. Enjoy guys
Thanks! This still works with Ferrari but needed to set medium tyres to go under 450pp. Doing so i was also able to increase power/decrease ballast a little. Did it with 2 pit stops. As you said the AI seems to be easier in the second half of the race, I had normal difficulty. Finally, don’t worry about the speedy Volkswagen Sambabus, he will stop 3 times
Thanks for this vid! I think they settings have changed since the most recent update to the game, and some further modifications were need related to the car’s HP, but your guide was very helpful.

I really like the video and the others. The game changed the PPs because I did everything to a T and I don't get your PP to compete and be below 460 and on the video you are even at 449 😢 no matter what car I use all the other cars are faster and I can't keep up even with perfect driving. If switching to medium tyres then I can increase the power to keep up but I lose in the corners too much. At some points the game is BS 😅
I followed this and won by 50 seconds or so by doing a 1 stop (and not changing tyres and just refuelling) running the whole race on fuel mix 4. For me, I couldn’t have the racing brake system or brake pads or it would’ve gone over 450PP.
It was great for me, I would have recommended the 70s alpine that was in the legendary car store but it's gone now. That was extra stable. I feel like the countach currently in the legendary car store might be a good option but I havent tried it
I did the same upgrades and settings for the Ferrari, and it still isn't under 450pp like the video. Had to make other adjustments to get to the 450pp and it's slow, first few corners and I have other cars overtaking me
I used the chapparal. tuned the gears(ended up with a top speed of 155 km/h) probably a better way to tune them. But this was enough to win the event. Just a bit faster than the ai on the straights, and a lot better than the ai in the turns. A bit annoying to max out the car on every straight.
I try setups that people said got them to like p2 before the pit stop, I do what I think is the same thing and I’m still p18 lol. This was mostly on the alsace one. These missions are tough as hell and I don’t think I’m that bad
That's right, if you want more turn in you'll need to accept a reduction in power. Any step closer towards oversteer and the pp increases. If you brake earlier and turn earlier, it is fine as it is. It's also beginner friendly as a lot of people struggle with oversteery cars
I dunno what In the world I'm doing wrong here but fastest lap I can muster is like 2:33 in any car while the AI is running 2:20s. Like, I can't even maintain straight line pace unless in an old muscle car that chews through fuel and handles like its on ice in the corners. I keep coming back to this video after 1.13 update bc I'm starting to think it's bugged. This gto is super fast due to the bug in PP, when setting the gears to less than 150mph making it allow for an overpowered vehicle pre 1.13 patch . Now, I simply just can't keep pace with the AI, again even in a straight line.

@@unleasheddrivers1281 there’s a Reddit post on it, you basically just make it so that you never have to switch from third gear and use the downforce to gap the others in the corners. I lapped everyone easily. If you have issues with it, try buying the body rigidity and use hards
I noticed the video you did for autopolis 1 hour your s660 had titanium connecting rods and pistons and now this car does too, how are you getting all these special parts?
i bought all the parts you have but i also have a sports flywheel and a racing flywheel i have the racing flywheel equipped by my pp is 454 and i can't get it to what you have and my 1/4 time is slower can't figure out what i did wrong
I literally done the setting u done n i canylt get anywhere near ur lap times unless i drop to 1 on the fuel map i struggled massively n barely scraped 13th but al take the bronze thanks anyway
So I don’t know if they rebalanced everything but I did everything to the car that you did and the value comes to 458. Not sure how much more I can nerf it. I even did the full 200 kgs of weight

I tryed tuning the Ferrari the same way but mine has way less power and have to ad more ballast to get to the pp level how is your car so light and powerfull with less pp I al confused...
This video has dated itself with the recent update, did the same settings to a T and it’s slow and I’m getting passed up and I’m not even close. Should’ve just bought the 2J or Alpine. #thehumancomedy
