The Human Comedy Race 7 Guide - Red Bull Ring - Gran Turismo 7 

Did this race today, and won with a margin of 1 minute and 43 seconds; huge gap. I used the Porsche RSR. Fuel map on 1 in sector 1, and 2 in sectors 2 and 3. Started on RM, did one refill but kept the first set of tires. For the 2nd stint, kept a close eye on the weather radar and switched to fuel map 3 and 4 and coasted for a bit, to undercut the weather. Pit for the 2nd time, switched to RI and used fuel map 2 for the entire stint. For the last 10 minutes of the race, fitted the RS and splashed enough fuel for the remainder of laps on fuel map 1. My setup is a sim-rig (TM TGT-II with load cell pedals and the SF-1000 wheel). Switching the settings continuously and being consistent on throttle and brakes is so much better than on controller.

Dude the snapping in the last 3 laps is an understatement, I couldn't keep up with Beauvois, but I was in the Ferrari running 2nd up until like lap 34 and 30 seconds ahead of 3rd place... ended up finishing 4th from losing control of the car so much in those final laps. It's absolutely silly.

Great guide again, thank you for sharing. As an additional car choice, I did in the Beetle. Super easy to drive, good on fuel and decent pace. As long as people pit before the rain fully arrives (lap 19 / 20) this car is a superb choice. To avoid the snapping towards the end of the race, don't change to "soft" tires, but change to "Intermediates". Smooth ride all the way to end of the race. :)

I used a very similar strategy, but during the wet drive i used IM tires and dialed my fuel trim to 4 primarily to reduce power from spinning the wheels, but it also stretched out that run. Once the track starts to dry out, i turned fuel dialed fuel down 1 notch per lap until back to trim 1. Ran until i needed fuel, then pitted ONLY for enough fuel to finish the remaining laps. Everybody was 2 laps down except 2nd,3rd and 4th place were 1 lap down. Ta da

Either my game is glitched or they have taken away... or broken the ability to use a working weather radar for this race in an update. Anyway, managed to bag the win thanks to this guide and also copying a little strategy off B. Beauvois for the last stint on dry tires. My successful race went as follows: 1. Peugeot RCZ Gr.3: Fuel Map 1/ TC = 0 + RH tires. 2. 100% refuel on lap 10, don't change tires. 3. 100% refuel on lap 19, change to Wet tires. TC = 3. 4. 100% refuel on lap 26, change to RH tires. 5. You should be done on lap 36 with a one minute lead or so, 37 laps if you're crazy fast. PS: Try to dodge any AI who spin out and get in your way. They will occasionally spin out even after the rain.

Thanks for this guide. Having previously come second 3 times (once by 0.4s!), I used this guide and the AMG (as per your video where you compared all the GT3 cars for BoP) and won it by exactly a minute, lapping everyone except 2nd place. Very happy!

I tried it with the Beetle. It was going great, but then my wife came and distracted me... then I went off the track in the 56th minute 😜😂😂

Peugeot RCZ Finished 42.120 seconds ahead Fuel Map 1 full race Start on racing soft (TC 3) Average time: 1 minute 33 Change to heavy wets at end of lap 18 (TC 5) Average time: 1 minute 50 Think i was around 25 seconds behind when pitting Change to intermediate lap 29 (TC 3) 12 minutes to go (Could try mediums as it dries up) Average time: 1 minute 38 Think i was around 1 minute 20 ahead before pitting Finished the race 42 seconds ahead, i used the intermediates as i never knew if the track stayed damp. could get away with mediums

Thanks for all these guides! 👍 great job. Just did this successfully with the Hyundai. Only change was I started with hards so I didn’t have to change them at the first stop. Beauvois finished 26 seconds behind. I had a spin out of the pits in the puddle you mentioned. Only remembered your warning as I was facing backwards lol.

I used the Renault RS01 for this because I didn’t wanna be boring and use the RCZ for both this and Maggiore, it feels really similar to the Peugeot, very manageable and good on both fuel and tires. Also I’m not sure that Softs are the way to go for the first stint. They fall off soooo quickly, I felt a lot more confident with Mediums once the wear starts kicking in, even if it’s just 10 laps. That said keep up the good work with these very helpful guides :)

I used the R.S 01 GT3 for this one. Good on fuel and overall a pretty decent car. My advice is to buy full wets instead of intermediates like I did because when that rain hits, it HITS. Also the Mercedes messed up pit stops on my run so I was able to get gold despite spinning twice and the rain slowing me down TREMENDOUSLY due to my tire choice. I was lapping like 1:33-1:35 times so I'm pretty sure most people can do better than me.

For anyone trying this on update 1.19: I used the Mercedes-AMG GT3 '16. Same pit strategy as his, and fuel map on 2 for the whole race except after last pit when I needed to put it on 3. My difficulty was on easy as I could't reach the 1st guy in normal/hard. Finished with a 1:17 gap from 2nd.

(see correction below).This one is very simple. I used the Nissan GTR GR3 with Med tires. You don't have to be in first, just stay within 20-30 seconds of the 1st place car. When you pit for fuel, it doesn't look like it's raining, but the minute you leave the pit, it will rain. Put on FULL WETS, once you leave, you will struggle for about 1/2 a lap, it's ok, because the 1st place car will pit for Inters and so will the rest of the field. The glitch is that they will make another stop for full wets a lap or two later. Once they make 2 stops within a lap of each other, you should be in front because you only made one stop. Now keep the full wets until the final pit stop (you will make a total of 2 stops) for fuel, don't mind the field catching up because the other glitch is that they all will stop again for Inters (3rd stop), and then a lap or 2 later, stop again for med/soft, they will make a total of 4 stops vs your 2 stops. When you make your final fuel stop, switch to med tires and coast home. The reason why I recommend the GTR GR3 is the fuel saving and the AWD for the full rain and drying but still wet track. I used the Porsche/Ford GT/Audi, etc..GR3 cars and noticed they only make 2 stops, but when I used the GTR GR3, they switched strategy to a 4 stop because I pitted later into the race for fuel and only needed to do it twice and driving full wets on a dry circuit. CORRECTION: Sorry, my first post, I was doing it from memory and on the go, just played this mission for the 11th time and here's the result. Your first pit stop will be on lap 9, Beauvois will be about 1-1.5 seconds faster per lap then you, I was averaging 1.33-1.34 vs 1.32. The biggest lead Beauvois had on my was 30 seconds (I spun out), on lap 18, this is your second pit stop, switched to full wets, changed your TC to 2 (was on 1), and power to level 2 (don't need all that power in the rain) about 2 laps later, everyone will pit for INTERs, watch out for slow traffic, they are struggling, they then will pit AGAIN for full WETS, watch out for yellow flags and Beauvois, you may run into him as he is crawling. Stay on the Wets, if Mayzano passes you up, let him go, but stay within 15 seconds of him. You will make your pitstop on lap 18, stay on the wets, everyone ((except Mayzano) will switched to soft, they will struggled again since the track is dam, manage the car, the car behind you should be 50-60 seconds behind, Mayzano 15 seconds ahead. On lap 30 (or 29 depending on your fuel management) you will make your final stop, switched to soft. Mayzano will still be in front, but for some reason, he (was on wets) he will switched to INTERS, struggled, then pit for soft. In all, keep the car on the track, everyone will make at least 2 more stops then you. Transmission-Auto ABS-default Counter Steering-off TC-1 then 2 in the rain Fuel- 1 then 2,3 in the rain.

Just finished this race with a decent gap to P2, with the PUG RCZ. Word of warning to people that haven’t attempted this, the AI will bump you off the dry racing line, even on blue flags, and twice caused me to spin out. Luckily still managed the win. Good vids too man 👍🏼

At the end keep on the inters it is so much stabler

McLaren 650S is also a really good choice, it can go 11 laps on a full tank of fuel if you're running map 1 and gear shift at 50% plus it can handle the wet the best and can brake better on the greasy lines too but it's turn 3 you always gotta stay alert on since no matter which car you choose the game's physics always makes your car spinout way too easily no matter if you're holding on the brakes a bit, use bit of throttle for rotation, use a bit of downforce for rotation or just drive slowly.

When the rain arrived, *the weather radar wasn't operating, so I had to trust my eyes and the aquaplaning meter.* Despite spinning off twice due to the heavy rain and picking the Intermediate tires first, *I won the race in 36 laps aboard the Z4.*

Thanks for a guide! This one wasn’t that hard to be fair. I’d suggest using mediums instead of softs as they don’t get easily cooked. Beavouis is op but he always does an extra stop so it should be enough to beat him even with 1.32-1.33 per dry lap

I know im late here lol but i had damn good luck with the Mazda RX-Vision. I won the car somehow so no money spent either!

Hard Mode. Genesis Gr.3. Start off on Hards - FM2. Pit for the first time when fuel is low, DONT CHANGE TYRES - just top up fuel. When it starts raining, CHANGE TO FULL WETS! Once it stops raining, stay on the full wets until around 15~ minutes left. Change to Mediums or Hards. Top up fuel. Finish the race. From then on, control the pack, be consistent with pace. I was hitting 1:50s in the rain. Consistent 1:30 on dry track. Finished 1 LAP AHEAD of Beauvois.

Used racing mediums and won almost no problem with the Mercedes amg gt3. All I had to do was pit at the right timing during the rain and the victory was set in stone.

current best setup (for me): Supra (modern one) and mediums for the first 2 stints. fuel setting 1 when it rains change to heavy wets and fuel map6. you won‘t have to stop again

So I attempted this once and failed in the RCZ. The last few laps of the race the car was trying to murder me. Went from first by about 15 seconds to like 5th or worse due to all the spins. Because of this, I decided to turn on countersteer assist on weak, switched to the group 3 WRX, and went on to win the race by 1:19. I even slowed down at the line with 20 seconds to go so I wouldn’t have to do another lap. The Subaru was nuts. I might’ve had to fuel save a bit. I did turn fuel down during the rainy part because who cares. I feel bad about the countersteer but I was so tired of spinning. I also probably learned where to not touch my tires once the track dried out. Avoiding puddles is important

Finished 2nd 22 sec behind beauvois with the subaru. 1 big mistake 3 laps from the end but that would have m1de the difference. Bought the amg and restarted. I put it on pauze coming out of the pit after round 18. This time i am in 3rd position and with the subaru i was 5th at that point...==>won it by 20 seconds. All the different cars i tried... only the subaru and amg feel competitive to win this (for me at least)

I just tried this race with the corvette, was 5 sec behind 1st with a lap to go on RM tires, spun out and ended up in 2nd 😔..gonna give it another go with this car

followed your strategy and won by a lap. The AI like to waste time by pitting for IW for 2-3 laps only. Keep going :)

Because I am an absolute Porsche guy I tried it with the RSR at my first attempt and just finished 5th…😂

I chose the rx vision gt3 thinking it'll have good fuel economy. Had one run that i screwed up cuz i didnt pay attention to how much fuel and time left. Then the next run beauvois got stuck in traffic i think caused by portilla's fuel thirsty viper running out on track and beauvois even spinning out right in front of me which was funny. Ended the race about 59 seconds ahead of Gallo who had 2nd and short shifting a lot, fearing id miscalculate again. The car was good in the rain cuz of the gearing on it.

I tried it with the RCZ and I absolutely hated it. I somehow lost the rear in almost every corner. Especially the hairpin. I was seconds of your pace. then I tried it with the genesis and it was much more stable. I did it on fuel 1, but I short shifted a lot and sometimes did a bit of lift and coast.

Subaru I found good for this one. It’s actually really decent under BOP

I must have gotten one of the broken AI races lol. Hence why I came to this video. I was running the BRZ GT300, running map 4 so I could run all the way until the rain came at around the 35 minute mark. But the leader in the Merc, ALSO hadn't had to pit yet, was 50 seconds up on me already and still had 20% fuel when he pitted. I knew then there was no way I was going to win that race. Was close, changed to fuel map 1, but there was just no way to defend against his speed and he took me on the last few laps. So frustrating.

Subaru wrx is the car for this race.

Won with 2secs leads .. lost went off couple times after the rain .. no idea how you got such a big lead

I won this last night, the only reason I won is because I knew the weather pattern after failing the first time. So I pitted mid way for wets it started to rain. An Odd thing is, I did not even gain 1second over the leader who was on slicks for 2 laps. Yes I was on slicks for 2 laps on a fucking 66% wet track. The AI and its "Bolted Down" coding gives it huge speed when wet. The only reason I won was because I pitted at the same time the mid field did for softs, it was a pain for a few laps as it was still a little too early, but I was not losing time, He pits 10laps later when the line is pretty much dry

Just did it with the merc, fuel map 1 turned out to be fine. I also accidentaly forgot it on easy difficulty and the AI was about as fast as yours. Perhaps it was fixed in today's patch? Though it's not on the notes.
