Thanks for putting it all into perspective. Based on all of the videos I've seen, the UGA fans gave a resounding standing ovation for the band's performance. Well, whether they really liked us or not, at least we got paid. Adios.
Not to beat a dead horse to death but my curiosity is getting the better of me. You said all you had to look forward to was the performance of Southern's band. So you all were aware of Southern's reputation nationally, that we've performed at several Super Bowl, Sugar Bowls, Inauguration and Radio City in New York and that the Dancing Dolls performed as back up dancers for Madonna when she performed at the Super Bowl? If so, how was this done - in the Newspapers perhaps? I just assumed they might have a blurb about them in the game program, but did not really expect more than that since a we are not in your conference. So was there a lot of Media hype about our band ahead of the game?
I'm curious, why were we playing the University of Georgia? Was this an exhibition game or something? We don't normally play them do we? Southern was great though.
I'm curious. it seems like the crowd really liked us. There was another RU-vid video in which the fans both black and white were practically begging us to come back. So why wasn't Southern asked back for the 2016 football season? Was it a little too much for the audience - our style of performance? Just curious.
These folks really appropriate the performance HBCU bands. So soon crazy, I don't why black fans started bowing the perfomances of rival marching bands. These folks don't do that. Theya re really in awe over the perfomance of bands like SU, Grambling, SOD, JSU, etc
