I just fell in love with the hunger games ever since I saw it, I cant wait until November 22 cuz Catching Fire is coming out on that day and the trailer is AWESOME XD I
Love this movie, the relashtionship between peeta and katniss was so beautiful, I really was moved at the end when they new only one can go back and they didnt want to leave each other so they were will to die together! its was such a beautiful scine the whole movie was fantastic
This is the 74th Hunger Games meaning it's been on for 74 years. Katniss, at age 16 has watched kids around her age die on a television show from the ages 5-6 years old. She was born into the country of Panem therefore the Hunger Games is somewhat genetically manipulated into the minds of these young people. Katniss like many of the other kids in panem are clearly numb with fear, it's as if fear doesn't exist and that's normal even nowadays.
Wes Bentley should totally keep his hair and beard. Walk around town dressed as Seneca Crane and hand out blueberries to kids. One of my favorite lines from the movie was "I like you, Seneca. Be careful."
Katniss's name comes from the plant which can also be called Saggitaria. Saggitaria shares the name with the zodiac sign, which is the sign of the Archer. This is probably why she reminds you of this.
I know I loved that part, I read it those few lines like 5 times and couldn't stop laughing. It's sad that they don't show Haymitch until they're on the train.
Stuck up? She's probably one of the most humble actresses I've seen lately! I love her because she's down to earth, funny, likable, talented, and yes, she is pretty.
i don't know i didn't read the book i don't know how katniss is supposed be. however i'm pretty sure no one in her shoes would stand there stoic and steady not thinking about her death which is what we got from jennifer lawrence. no despair no agony no anything. i'm not sold. as for her part in silver linings, she did alright. it wasn't however not by any stretch of my imagination an award winning performance.
yeah i did watch silver linings, i don't regret it but i wont remember it forever. a facked up guy obsessed with his wife and a messed up nymphomaniac both incredibly hot and sexy meet and of course they fall in love and just like that their very serious psychiatric problems are instantly mended. sounds like real life, a story about the healing properties of sexy people, the work of a genius, there's not enough gold in the world to reward this incredible masterpiece
Who else? How about every critic who reviewed the movie, even those who didn't like the film overall. Personally I think she nailed the character. Katniss is a careful balance of strength and vulnerability.
If you were in the show business industry, I would say that you probably know what you are talking about when your saying that the supporting cast upstage her but I don't think you are. Why did she win an oscar instead of someone else, well I don't know. She just did and deserved it like many others.
One of the reasons it had to be like this is so it could get a PG-13 rating. If it didn't have the shaky movements it would have been too gruesome and would have had to be rated R, meaning most of the younger fans wouldn't be able to see it.
+Sup Peeps Those guys are being mean to you but I am gonna say it nicely, gale is Australian but sometimes he goes to britan BUT finnick in catching fire is British
"everyone else seems to be (pleased with her performance in silver linings)" thats great, good for her. however in the us, everyone seems to agree on things i strongly disagree with, such as the war in the middle east or the USA partnering with Israel. moreover "everyone" is too loose, lots of people agree with me. her part in SLP was very simple and very easy and all jennifer had to do was deliver lines. bravo, bring the awards
