I love Finnick and Katniss’s friendship, I was so sad when I finished mockingjay😭

In the books he actually flirts a bit and since Peeta tried getting Katniss out of the games by saying she was pregnant Finnick would say stuff like don’t tire yourself out then put his hand on her belly and when Peeta’s heart stopped she was crying so much and couldn’t stop and Peeta was confused and Finnick said don’t worry it’s her hormones 😂

I love the scene in the Mockingjay when Finnick and and Katniss come forth and Finnick says “welcome to the 76th hunger games.” It’s both sad and freaking awesome. Cause in reality it was a hunger games. The play area was just bigger.

Their friendship is so inspiring. Finnick was a true friend. RIP

I literally just finished watching the trilogy yesterday and yes I’m aware the series has been out little over a decade now lol. The idea of bringing back the champions from previous games was pretty genius I loved the scene where Haymitch was breaking down the other tributes how we had someone who wasn’t brawns but brains and electrocuted 6 tributes at once, someone who’s so good at camouflaging they won the games just by hiding, and Finnick possibly being the youngest to ever win the games. At only 14 years old and winning the 65th Hunger Games that’s insane tbh lol but overall I like his character thought he was really cool he gave off an athletic, survivor, almost Achilles vibe to him with a slight use of a trident instead of a spear. Great overall character!

awesome edit but missed opportunity!!! you should have took the scene where all the tributes hold hands and lift them up together and the scene that shows katniss destroying the roof of the dome “so we put our hands up like the cieling can’t hold us, like the cieling can’t hold us” and just some general rebellion wins like killing snow and stuff like that 🫶
