The Hunger Games was a massive hit when it came out in 2012, right when the “young adult” genre of movies based on book series was going strong. The movie helped shoot Jennifer Lawrence to superstardom and introduced us to the world of Panem and their crazy Hunger Games Battle Royale ritual. The film definitely raises some questions though.
