The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) Official Trailer 2 brought us here! 🙋‍♂

it would be so awesome if the the trailer starts with Katniss singing the Hanging Tree and slowly her voice melds with Lucy Gray's voice and then falls off to let Lucy finish the song.

*Spoilers for Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes* What I always thought was interesting is how in the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Lucy Gray writes Hanging Tree and uses it to signal to Coriolanus Snow to flee district 12 with her so they could escape the reach of the Capitol, just for Coriolanus to betray Lucy Gray, and then years later Coriolanus becomes the president and face of the Capitol, and Lucy Gray's song comes back to lead the rebellion ultimately leading to Coriolanus's death.

One of the main reasons I'm excited for this movie is the new version of The Hanging Tree we'll hopefully be getting. It's definitely the best song from any film soundtrack, possibly my favorite song period.

Hunger Games are returning in November. Can't Wait to see Lucy Gray Baird singing and in Action. Rachel Zegler is going to be phenomenal.

SPOILER ALERT i have literally just noticed that The Balled Of Song Birds And Song Snakes It Called That Because Lucy Grey Is A Bird (In The Film One Of The Tributes Said To Snow “Im Gonna GET Your Little Songbird” Because Shes A Songbird) And Snakes Because Of How Coriolanus Snow Betrayed So Many People Especially Sejanus.

We lowkey thought this was fiction when the movies first came out….it was just the reflection of current times 😮😢🎉

Lucy Gary's voice in the hanging tree is low but Jennifer's voice in the hanging tree is the highest I'm hearting drums and there is no druming in this song only the piano the ballad songbirds and snakes movie is not action like catching fire and Mockingjay is not far like no fucking way I wish Jennifer was in the movie but she was not and I don't like it at all
