Given a scale of the world comparable to ours, reaching the goblin camp at that distance should have taken weeks. Also, the weirdo miner was clearly Steve Buscemi without makeup!
20 miles on horseback through wilderness is going to take longer than 1 hour. 2-3 hours easily taking into account trot speed and resting the horses. To travel faster would risk injury to the horses.
