Um, Adam, that's not entirely true because New Zealand has a huge problem with the government carrying out 1080 poisoning, which is killing indiscriminately, even farm animals are being poisoned.

The big struggle in a situation like that is mental. Some people just freeze and quickly run out of strength to continue.

Mate you gotta make a choice, and stick to it.....don't lie to yourself. If you wanna do it do it.....if you don't don't.....talk to your woman, your kids and don't fudge, don't ask them for the answer to your inner conflict, like your on the mountain fella, solve it, decide or shut the fuck up about it. Just about every Mountain hunter I know in NZ has had one or more dicey experience hunting Tahr and Chamois. It's common. I would not say it's extreme, it's almost standard, especially in South Westland
