In The Hunted Part 1, you start off being pretty royally screwed up by a bear, leaving you to die with little health and the objective to get to the Trapper's Cabin to obtain his gun. My real world time was 32m9s and my in game time was 6h44m. This was my first honest attempt at this speedrun, so there's definitely room to be taken off of this.

Impressive. Never knew about the glitch to spawn into a starting location. I believe this could easily become a sub 30 min run

Haha yeah I never did come up with a good intro line for tld stuff. Takes place on great bear island, but cant use islanders. Cant use survivors or survivalists... seems like all of them could be for either series lol. I suppose mountaineers or just make up a whole new term, hmmm.... snowflakes? 😆

Glitch used to bring you to Timberwolf mountain…. At least that’s how I remember it being used in the hopeless rescue speed run.

I know this is a bit old, but have you tried Jogging? Instead of holding down shift to sprint, you press shift every time your character’s foot hits the ground, or when your camera reaches its lowest point. Takes a bit of practice, but keeps most of the speed of sprinting with a longer duration.

Nah id never heard that before, or rather id heard about that but not had it explained. Got a loose tld series coming up so thats super good info to know, thanks mate and thanks for watching!
