I love the lil detail abt how they might use the wolf as a display mount, its a reminder that some wolves are hunted purely for game and showing off😢

Usually yeah, but hunting game can also serve the purpose of keeping the population down to prevent them over-hunting other animals. Bodies do not generally go to waste, remains feed the land or people, be it through the meat or money it provides.

Hunting wolves imo aren’t really needed though they can control their own populations via wolf fights and starvation and other factors but the state governments of where wolves are would love to disagree with me on that.

quick lets make fun of the actual real existing lame-os who hang outside yellowstone exclusively to kill yellowstone wolves. i have more nuanced opinions but damn so many hunters are actual freaks abt wolves in general.

I just got killed in the same way, but not on purpose. I thought getting shot by a hunter would be an achievement, specifically the hidden achievement. Does anyone know what the hidden achievement is?

The hidden achievement is where you have to get shot, but survive it amd run south back across the border. It took me a few tries but i eventually got it!

it's located kinda in the middle of the hunting area, slightly on the left side. Like above the ''absorka-beartooth wilderness'' text. Somewhere around there.
