Ever wondered what it is like to lead a Luftwaffe unit into battle?
Ride along - from briefing to landing - as Phoenix flight of I/JG7, comprised of Schwärme Falke and Adler, soar into battle against a flight of RAF Spitfires high up in the contrails. As a hectic battle ensues, get a glimpse of the challenge of being a flight or group lead from the Staffelkapitän's perspective. Listen into the radio communications and get an understanding of how the individual units cooperate to come out on top. Man, I loved it! It became very obvious how difficult it is to get rounds on a spitfire with a pilot that is well aware - just breaking away hard. We should do that more often. Was a ton of fun.

Nice teamwork and communication. So easy to jam up the radio and / or loose SA. DCS is at its best when it's played by a group. Thanks for the video.

thx for sharing, love to see this kind of teamwork and group tactics. But i've got a question. Is it dcs or il2 ? looks familiar to il2 for me. Landscape, Cockpit views and Instrumentation... ok, its a longer time ago, since i was flying in il2 and dcs ( got the Mustang addon ) but it looks like il2, what i flew for amny, many years

To play DCS WW2 in multiplayer you need: - At least 1 warbird - Normandy 2 map - WW2 assets pack During sales, most of these modules are below 30$

great flying - which cockpit for the 109 do you use? The pinup is quite cool...

Hey there, It's custom. The pinup I created myself and the rest I combined from other mods. I like the slightly darker appearance. I think we have a generic version without pinup on our discord for download. I'll have to check.
