I'm becoming a big fan of this series cause, yesterday they announced that the game will be released on consoles and I can't wait to try it!! (Nerdy student present him !! 🤓)
Really thank you for your help on learning this tech stuff that i did even know the existance, more on setup please!! This game is become my main focus for 2024/25 because is really so immersive with the details but i really wish they focus more on optimization. Again thank you!
I’m glad you’re enjoying LMU mate it’s been my favourite sim since it was released too! I am studying setups etc so that I can help with setup building for you guys in the future 🙏
Well done on yet another video, Alex! Thanks for putting in the time and efforts into making these. Love the tease for the setup tweaks, too. I’m ready for it!
All the default values for BB (brake bias) are also different for each HY car. At Spa alone, the Toyota could have a default of around 52/48, the Peugeot 54/46 and the Porsche 56/44, due to their vastly different characteristics. These default values are usually pretty good and are recommended the first time you jump into a HY and do practice laps, but as Alex mentioned, it's down to user preference. If anything, the default values are very indicative to what sort of ballpark that specific car is somewhat setup/tailored for.
Hey mate thank you! Be sure to check out the previous episodes 1 & 2 if you haven’t yet! Honestly I can’t pick I love driving them all! I think the best performing in long races at the moment is still the Ferrari. The high corner grip and really easy fuel saving makes it a very strong car
Hello, Alex love your explanation of the brake migration. Absolutely the most helpful lesson I've ever had, Thank You for your knowledge. I always found it difficult to release the pedal at the right smoothness however that might have just changed, with the Brake Migration. Also I been starting to put sometime into "Le Mans Ultimate" so I maybe able to boost my skill level. Thank You For reading this and for another excellent video. Love your setup. Can you do a video on how you have your monitors set as your windows? Or did you do that and I missed it?
Thanks for watching and glad this video could help you! Do you mean how I set up my triple monitors? If so this video has a section that shows how to setup up triple monitors in LMU: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UHMKVieEz8U.htmlsi=a0j2Jykf0fk066m6
@alexkayracing that will work. I also have to Apologies, my memory was incorrect. I thought you were the young gentleman who put a car in his room and was sim racing in the car. And that video on the triple setup is something I've needing to do and have been neglecting. Lol so ty for the link.
no I didn’t go as far as putting a car in my room however we got very close to it! You can see how I built my Hypercar rig here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P9Au8VMkzYM.html
great video! however, you didn't mention anything about changing the bb from corners to corners whilst driving. not a complaint but just wonder why didn't you say about it?
More because for a beginner that might be abit complicated, however i kind of explained it in the damage part near the end. Changing BB from corner to corner is absolutely fine
somethink i keep wondering about: Does the shorting of braking zone relate to where the wheels are driven from ? Like does rear bias shorten breaking zones for rear wheel driven cars ?
