The way you tap into a niche nostalgia with most of your videos is refreshing to me.your video topics scratch weird itches my brain has repressed hardcore. the way you use your commentary and mixed media AND ALL that idk this channel is something really special and is gonna blow the fuck up. I really like your Video Style. If you don´t mind, maybe you could talk about about the Ouya in one of your next videos. Cause as a backer for this atrocity back then (for some still to me unknown reason) i can rightfully say, i just simply love every Video minute of where the Ouya getting it´s ass kicked. Edit: It´s been 20 hours since you uploaded this video and it´s kind of sad to see that it still don´t have that much likes. I expected way more at this point. We can clearly see that you put a lot of passion into these videos. I hope that will change at some point.
I spent my entire afternoon watching these videos. Man, so much sad rose-tinted nostalgia. 😂 So many of these games I either played when I was young or saw commercials and advertisements for them. I never touched a Hyperscan and thank the Lord I didn’t, but Star Wars Episode III was an amazing game to me at its time. Those swap-meet cutscenes though, I remember bragging to my older brother about how cool it was that it had scenes from the movie in it.
I remember getting one at Toys R Us for like $15, most of the time I'd scan those cards and nothing would happen, the Ben 10 game glitched letting me use X-Men cards for aliens (like aliens from Ben 10, I didn't get to transform into Wolverine in Ben 10... would be cool tbh) I played with it for like 3 hours and eventually it ended up in the trash 3 years later... RIP HyperScan the world was not ready for you :'(
My friend had a Hyperscan when I went over to his house once. He was super disappointed by it and warned me never to get it. Instead of playing it, we made Miis for like 5 hours

Watched most of your vids since that Bulletstorm review. Can I ask what software you edit with and are you self taught? The vids and style you have are just so clean.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro for the most part. I'll use After Effects for little things every now and then. I've always had a passion for video editing so I'm pretty much self taught for the most part aside from tips I picked up in various classes over time. Thanks for being such a long time viewer! If you're trying to get into video editing, Premiere Pro is imo the most user friendly professional grade one you can get. Don't give up, you'll only keep getting better with time!
I know brother we've all gone through hell in this generation I remember when the recession hit The only thing we could afford to eat was rotisserie chicken And we had the same two DAMN sides mashed potatoes and peas.
All my family could afford was a big 5 pound thing of pork, I have had pork prepared every single way a 1000x over. I still can't look at a pig without feeling sick

Looking back it was a bad console but i was only 4 when this came out, my dad got it for me the next year and i have great memories with the thing. I thought i was crazy because ive never know anyone personally that had one of these lol
Exactly how effective is the scanning of the cards? I heard from some reviews that it’s off, others that it works fine if you know how to scan it properly but I also heard from comments that even scanning it properly it’s not all that effective.
I had one of these when I was twelve, the only game I had cards for was Ben 10 and even then I only had two which meant I couldn't access all the aliens or finish the game :'(
If this had come out in like 2011, they would have used a cheap computer running Android and it probably would have been halfway decent. It would have just been app-store games on a console, but it would have been a PS5 compared to this thing.
i had one....and I actually enjoyed it! However i think it was stolen cause it just vanished. I actually just got one for my console collection sooo heh yeah i willingly got 2 Hyperscans

Yeah this game console and games fails itself, as you got snes and genesis and even the Nes that were 100 times better then this, and the cards should have been use as boosters not as unlocks and drm-ing 75 percent of the games. the cards maybe should have maybe been use locked 25 percent of hidden things.
