So why did the ICC not prosecute the case of French UN soldiers raping children in the Central African Republic? The French legal system just closed the case, and it cannot be argued this was a reasonable attempt to pursue the case. There were interviews and other material collected which would at least provide ample ground of a trial.
France holds one of the permanent seats on the United Nations Security Council, and in the first place, the ICC requires the compliance of the countries it works with in order to carry out its duties. France holds the power here so what they say goes... if anything, I'd say that stipulation is more for countries unable to try someone than countries who don't want to. I mean, as it is, the ICC seems to be doing jack all about the 2017-(ongoing) Rohingya genocide in Myanmar, and they're not even a world power... what are you gonna do, smh.

Why the eligibility to become a signatory in Rome Statute is restricted to a nation and not beyond, when nation itself destroy its own ethnicities and the heterogeneity in the name of Unity? Rome Statute should address ethnicities of the world, it should empower and protect ethnicities from the clutches of its own nations.

We are worrying about the lack of transparency and epistémological respect and consideration of our postgraduate studies level of enabling change to achieve the envisioned future of DRC peace, justice and sustainable development future. Try to consider the equality and diversity inclusion non only for Congolese diaspora around the European countries and also people in DRC lacking political stability, economic growth, sociale supports, technology advancement, net zero carbon emissions, stable legal system of institutions when developing your programme and justice projects about DRC and it people stability and peace. Human rights has reported a lot of crimes datas both qualitative and quantitative to inform their rigours reports but nothing is done. Yes but he won't be there physically, will he? I can recall hearing that the President strongly advised to not visit the country because he would have to hand hin over to the ICJ.
