Crossout Designator OP smile You could get away with playing 2 surface, bumping your reborn count up to 5, however it can contribute to cloggy hands with the structures tbh. Outside of the structures, you might be able to make a solid going 1st deck, but the structures just don’t have the right cards to make it a good option by themselves.
Crossout against a specifically Ice Barrier deck, not generic good cards, would mean that you're playing specifically anti ice barrier, which is weird. If someone used this 3 structure deck build with no extra cards from other packs or decks (just a bad idea overall), it's unlikely you'd have the cards on you to side in a crossout target that would matter. :) Crossout not so OP :)
@@mohammedhussain6749 that wouldn't be a huge priority really Though I'd probably go the Marincess route in the long run, as 2020 megatins are like right there
if you could be doing this with older structure decks, then id love it. i tried it with the soul burner deck and it made for a great deck in competitive play
You didnt mention the secondary effects they have which is actually viable. They can stop tribute summons or banish spells and traps that go to the gy.They have a really good going first play, because they can set-up locks. So if you go in that directions you can snatch many going first games.
@@mikaelamonsterland It's intentional. Konami has a habit of balancing some cards, over balancing others, and then completely breaking anything that's gone to sell a core set.
Was without power/water/cell signal for three days in Texas due to the winter storms. Had a hot shower for the first time since then and it was great. Thanks for the video and kind words Revz!
Been kinda hyped for this SD, but sadly after the snow here in Texas, all the shipping of it to stores has been pushed back a bit and still have yet to find one. :')
tbf this structure is a decent pick up for people who want to play plunder patroll or Mermail. The genex package, Angler, a small frog package with a few decent staple side deck cards. Ice Barrier is still bad right now but I could see them getting the same treatment as the machina structure, with a good card for the deck being revealed in a future set
Ever since the release of the mega-tins and the landscape of the game changed they finally found the best way to market structure decks. Give them a couple generic cards for usability outside, enough useful cards to a build semi-competitive deck for cheap, and easy way to build a theme deck. Casual players without a good collection can build moderate decks, and guaranteed cards attracts people less willing to buy numerous packs.
Biggest difference off the bat is ice barriers have Extra deck boss monsters and spirit charmers got golem aruru, but I think the charmers got more staples
The new support is honestly really good I know its not what people wanted but keep in mind this wave of support made ice playable and made summoning its synchro monsters easy (previously it was a pain to summon trish)
Bro this is the most underrated deck.Just because you don’t know how to play with it it doesn’t mean it’s bad. Im currently running this deck and everything is fine.
Spend $2 and throw in Dragite. Easy omni negate for going T1. Cheat out a Spellbreaker and you have a pretty good first hand. Spend $2 more and throw in a barrier statue of the torrent and you can really start shutting down the opponent's deck.
Idk why i always keep coming back to this video, seeing such an unplayable archetype get some shine since it has such a cool gimmick just warms up a part of my heart lol
for a Structure Deck this should be MUCH better. let the crappy deck/cards for Starter decks. Structure decks should introduces tier 2 deck for the meta!
ICE BARRIERS WERE NEVER UNPLAYABLE, sorry just people say Ice Barrier is the worst deck ever, despite it being a really competent stun deck at the time yes you were never Synchro Summoning, but it didn't matter because your opponent couldn't do anything
Oh no, my Defense Position monsters can't change their battle position. What am I gong to do? Just joking on expense of the bad random floodgate effects of most IB monsters btw.
The Charmer deck was a one off, because they knew competitive players wouldn't care. So they tried their best to incentivize collectors buying multiples of the deck. Specifically Charmer fans. Honestly, prefer Ice Barrier's. At least it got legit support that isn't trash, and the complete Extra Deck. Unlike Charmer's, which got two good cards, none of the Extra Deck Monsters, and the rest was made for 2008 YGO. Using alt arts, playmats and Tokens as a cheap way of getting sales.
Imagine Konami release a deck hard losing to a compulse in 2021... oh wait If only Wayne's effect was "if your opponent controls a monster special summon" to not lose to a pop or a bounce on the normal summon...
Deck is kinda busted (for Ice Barrier). Pretty solid rogue deck that can board 2-4 negates and handloop 4 with just a few cards. Structure deck has some of what you need but isn't great value wise. Would have been god tier of we got cross out with it.
