Well it reminds me of Diddy. He was still rapping even though he was producing new artists. So he couldn't concentrate on them because he was too into himself. I can't figure it out. It's almost as if like JayZ, DIddy saw the artists he was signing as competition--so he kept them down. The more people you bless and raise up, the more you will be blessed. Back in the late nineties in Miami I went to the Jay-Z hard knock Life tour which had all the Def jam rappers including DMX ,well DMX performed before Jay-Z and I heard the crowd that night the crowd was so loud for DMX when Jay-Z came on everyone was still chanting for DMX and Jay-Z had to bring him back out .The whole crowd loved DMX way more Jay-Z. To this day I'm sure he is still more loved than Jay-Z..

I bought 6 of DMX's albums (including the posthumous one) and two Ryde or Die compilations. Never bought a single one for Jay-Z. Sometimes, you just know.

I met DMX at a shoe store after buying shoes there. I was with my HG and we walked past th and I was like ''yo that's DMX'' my HG was like yeah right. We went back I walked up shook his hand and said I asked of I could get a picture and he signed my shoes. I was the only person who got a picture and autograph I was so happy... RIP DMX always new you was a real one everyone has demons they got to battle but he lived by his words 💯
