If you have thick skin and can handle the hours to enjoy the finer things in life and still be at home the non CDL life is where it’s at. Local no long distance and off on weekends or work for more. Get that paper

Youre the guy my friends and family think I am after I got a CDL. Ive been driving for 10 years and its been living hell since day 1 lol. Im no better off financially than I was when I graduated high school in 2011. I make enough money to pay my rent and bills and thats IT! No vacations, no benefits, nothing extra. Hell I just got married and my wife and I cant even afford to go on a honeymoon. That past decade as been start a new job full of hope, work like a dog with barely enough pay to stay afloat, deal with long days of constant headaches, neglegent ownership and management, unsafe broken ass equipment, and really no happiness for however many months until I cant take it anymore and quite for a few weeks before I start the cycle again. All that to say im glad somebody is doing well in this industry that im convinced is total bullshit.
