Basically Tolle made a compilation of early psychology and some ancient greek philosophies. I don't see anything new, but the new nice money he's making through people.

@@milan51259 I feel that your observation is hasty, unfair & inaccurate. There is nothing new under the sun. The themes that permeate our lives are collective & hardly unique. They are universal & are repeated in all forms of art, music, literature. Ultimately, there's only a finite amount of experiences that we can encounter during our lifetimes. I currently rely on both Eckhart Tolle & Tara Brach for spiritual insight & growth. Each are entirely different in their approach (Tara's RAIN method zeroes in on healing what Eckhart calls the "pain body." I forget what she calls it but acknowledges that she had to give it a different name as Eckhart coined the phrase first. But ET is gifted as he speaks from the heart & his teachings are powerful as well. Yes. 'Same things." They are both creative and effective spiritual teachers. Repetitive? Of course. It couldn't be any other way. Driven only by commerce? IMHO, anyone who comes to this conclusion hasn't really listened to what is being said. Or read the accompanying slew of comments that provide further insight. It's okay to be cynical if it leads to discretion.

because Christians don't like when somebody , not a controlling authority figure middle man like a priest , tell you what Jesus said and or interpret the teachings of Jesus differently than what the church and priests teach

It sounds as if you are depressed. Establish a daily schedule, starting the day with meditation, exercise, warm breakfast. That will help. Stay away from screens, news, drugs and alcohol.

Because people are no more natural and these virtues like kindness and compassion do not come spontaneously, so like everything else in our material world, we need to practice/cultivate them

Ideally you leave the person at home and go there as consciousness.
