Ask a dealer over the phone by year, make, model and the 8th of the VIN number that identifies your engine to find out if turbo charger as owners manual is missing. If equipped with a turbo, alway remember to change to oil frequently. You see guys wipe the dipstick oil on their finger? They are looking to see how opaque or hard to see thru. This is only one test of engine oil you can do. If ever in doubt, change it. Remember, short trips to work & home is harder on oil then long trips. If anything, please remember once you have reached your destination and parking, allow the engine to idle for 1-2 minutes. Prepare you property inside the vehicle while you wait. Hide anything of value out of site, bundle items to leave with you! During this time, several things happen to keep your Turbo happy. #1 The turbo slows down to its lower speed. #2 Engine oil is flowing across the bearings and seals returning to the oil pan. #3 The fresh oil & low speed helps cool the turbo, after all, the exhaust drives it and engine oil cools it by carrying away heat. (WARNING!) The quickest way to damage the turbo is to gun the throttle several times as you shut it off. The turbo may be spinning inside the case for 3-4 minutes after you have lock the vehicle and walk away. Don’t ever let someone not familiar with your vehicle do this. Educate them before allowing them to drive. Make a thin-hard cardboard sign (Cereal Box Type) to hang on the rear view mirror that simply says “Turbo, let idle” and don’t block their view. It’s not a baby in the back seat, it’s the baby under the hood. (Note; Installing an oil accumulator is not cheap, especially if paying someone, but it provide lubricating oil to the turbo for a minute or so, after the key is switched off. Hope this helps!
