And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭ There is so much honey poured over the scriptures to make it palatable for the wicked, that those who need the bitter discipline of those scriptures are getting a taste that they’re not meant to have and they wonder why the after effect is a bitter stomach of their own unrighteousness. Then he is told that he must re-tell again to the nations, kings, and languages. This tells me that the bitter scriptures have been sugarcoated from the beginning. However when I read Revelation it is only bitter and it comes with a warning for those who would change it. Almost every Christian I have ever known was scared to read it after starting it.
