I thought that I had seen every show that was made about the 1967 Red Sox, but this one is a new one. Thank you for finding this and posting it. It was fascinating to hear the dialog from Ken Coleman and Ned Martin, compared with their poetry that is immortalized in the Impossible Dream LP (which, of course, I still remember word for word, with the skips and scratches).

Glad you enjoyed, Marc. That's been the great thing about this RU-vid channel. I knew *I* was gonna get to enjoy all the highlights I had collected over the years, but now you guys do too!

This is an amazing find! I was hoping to see if broadcast footage of the ‘67 World Series was used but it looks to be film clips. Still amazing though! Maybe one day we’ll come across a tv broadcast footage of the 67 World Series!

Being a little younger, I only remember Don Gillis from the Candlepin show, after he retired from Channel 5 sports. I can hardly recognize him. This is a great documentary of a team I heard so much about when I was a kid. Thanks!

First time I went to Fenway was the '67 WS. The view of the park coming up the walkway is forever imprinted. I was 6.

6 from the lead at the all stsar break in 67 kinda makes 4 and in a half in 2024 look easy....yeah, I know thers 3 wild cards...but a division title for this team would be something

My girlfriend and I were attending different colleges in Boston that year and on a whim, we decided to go to Fenway Park for game 6, even though we had no tickets. Believe it or not, we paid a few bucks and just walked right in and sat in one of the aisles between first and home and watched the whole game, which the Sox won! What a let down to lose to Bob Gibson and the Cardinals in game 7.

As a Red Sox fan born in 1969 I heard about this team all the time. Was a huge fan in the 1970s. Remember the 1975 World Series. After 1986 I could not take it anymore and was so sick of hearing about the 67 team, the 75 team, 86 team, and old films of 46 team. I took a break for about 8 years but started watching again in the early 1990s. Then 04, 07, 13 and 18. The nostalgia about teams that lost I get. But now every loss some moron brings up 67 or 75 like it was some magic time. The 2004 team got it done and John Henry wins 3 more and a lot of older fans want him fired after every game they lose. I will take David Ortiz of anyone who played on the 67 team, ditto 75 team, and 86 team. This sets some people off but all I care about is winning Championships.

Poor manager. Each case left people in cost them. Buckner. 86. Stanley 86. Dick drago 75. Cecil cooper. 75. 1/11. 67 they were beaten by achampion team and all time great pitcher. The end.

@@haroldsmyth6685 Leaving Buckner in the game is not why they lost. The game was already lost by the bullpen.
