Here in Southern California, anywhere there is a slack line set up, you can find bongos, tie dye shirts, good weed, hemp clothes, macrame, incense, vegan food and 1973 Kombi vans
Nice one guys … Portugal is indeed fabulous and with a cracking network of free official Aires .. you can absolutely beach bum in the day … and feel safe at night …
Playing games and teaching a young one how to read, a sign of things to come! :D What a splentastic episode! Beautiful beach! I also feel like Alaska is even more adventurous lately than she has ever been!
what- an episode where you are out having fun and not greasy- congrats- Boomerang loves you!!!! This was a great episode. thanks guys. Might have been a good diving spot for some real dinner. hope the next episode is as fun. Ya know we have a golf coarse too. 7 iron for rattlesnakes.
I LOVE this episode ! Tamara is hardcore and Alaska is sweet as ever. You three deserve happy beachlife after that 4 weeks on the "moon". Beaches like this (even with some more developed "background" )you can find a lot in the South of Spain. I've visited some and the one they call it "the most beautiful in Europe". It's called Cala Giverola, located 1 Mile Northeast of Tossa del Mar (such a Beauty !) which is located about 50 Miles Northeast of Barcelona. Such a stunning landscape there, maybe an idea for your "way back". I don't know your plans of going on, so maybe it's just another point for your bucket-list. Good luck for you three, always fair winds (for surfing, of course) and best regards from Berlin, Germany. I'm a fan of Kombi-Life since Oaxaca, rock on !
I used to live near there. It looks a bit more civilized now. There was nasty poo and paper in the bushes and behind the rocks... I hope it's better now as the beach is lovely.
Funny I made also a trip to Portugal 2 Weeks ago. But I took the hard route from Belgium over Spain to Lisboa, nearest to the coast. Which I cannot recomment! Do not do that; anyone; sounds always like fun "along the coast" ... it is not. Just decide where you want to go and go for it directly. Though it seems I missed some nice spots.
After we’re done driving south America my wife and I talk about shipping to Europe and then I think about the costs the restrictions the daily irritations. Wild camping the US Canada and Mexico just seems easier.
Fuel is more expensive but for the most part there are more free camp spots in Europe than you’ll need. There is a lot to enjoy and explore here. I’d recommend it.
Tamara, Algarve is not a province, it's a region. Portugal doesn't have provinces, it has districts. The Algarve region is coterminous with the Faro District.
Nice episode again! Are you going to get a camera mount for your surf board? Have you guys thought about Starlink’s RV package? Would be great for you guys I think
We have made some upgrades to the Kombi internet since we filmed this and yes we did also purchase a satellite recently for some testing. We also plan to put a new camera mount on the surfboard.
@KombiLife yes applying the hand brake I'm told the diff needs resistance to lock As ours are not actually limited slip they lock From my experience wet grass or gravel is not enough resistance So applying the hand brake as you let your clutch out locks it unplaced Practice it see how you get on It worked for me I Google searched "peloquin different not working" and found a welf on info
Why do you leak the actual beach, instead of making a video that 1) still has a mystery and more importantly 2) does not lead to 5 million people going there and ruining the spot for everyone. Honestly...
Since we started this channel in 2012. We have NEVER leaked secret locations. We take this very seriously. This beach is far from secret, it is VERY well known and frequently featured in many blogs/vlogs and newspapers. Hope you get to visit some day.
You people are abusing this old van just for content....get an SUV 4 X 4 for such terrain. Really sad to see this. Used to love your old videos. Love...
No need to feel sad. The van has been upgraded for such roads. Alas it wasn’t quite up to this challenge. Probably because we were fully loaded and perhaps there is an issue with our LSD. Please don’t think we are doing such things ‘for content’ - we simply just document what we are dojng. we are regularly on difficult terrain, it just isn’t always possible to document it. But we did in many other episodes. Thanks for watching.
It's a late Bay. Relax. you should come here to Missouri and see what some of the splitty guys are doing with their "Ozark Look" scene. These buses were made for rough terrain.
