Epic views. Felt like I was watching the Endless Summer. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like the inside of the Kombi is kept much more tidy since Tamara is onboard?
Great video as always. It’s so lovely seeing you guys together. I’ve watched Kombi Life from the beginning and this is the best series yet. All the best to you both.
Hey Hey!! You're in my backyard =) Followed all your travels from Patagonia to Alaska and now you are here in the Algarve! I've seen that you found some great spots already, if you want more great places to go, just let me know! Cheers ;)
Love having fun on your reverse honeymoon. (you know when "regular people " go exciting places before going home to 9x5s ) you guys stayed home and now back to the adventure. The pottery shop was of interest as my sister has been in that business for some time. Surfboard SLAM??? wow- to pull an imbedded golf ball from a fiberglass enclosure. Surprised your ankle isn't bruised. Tamara - lovey -- where could you spend a better youth. If you ever lose faith in Boomerang- just ask the modern vans how much interest their vans create. Look forward to the next adventure. ps Ben- its still 105 here.
You guys make an awesome fun couple I so hope it works out for you 🎉 if he insists on a kombi at least he's found a mighty mini mate that fits in it. Love you both ❤🎉
Really enjoyed the surfing scenes with the lovely background music. So soothing and peaceful. 🙂 Really did not enjoy the nose blowing scene. 🤢 Portugal is beautiful. Enjoy your journey.
The way I get stubborn water out of my ears is to roll the corner of a tissue so it's a bit stiff and use that. It's much gentler and safer than a q-tip, and also very absorbent.
As an Portuguese kitesurfer i feel so lucky for being born in this beautiful piece of the world! For sure the best beaches are Nazaré, Cascais, Peniche, Espinho, Ericeira, Lagos, Sagres, Aljezur, Vila do Bispo, Murtosa, Figueira da Foz, Costa da Caparica, Carcavelos, Viana do Castelo, Matosinhos in Porto where i live, and Ofir my favorite one. The city’s to explore are Évora, Sintra, Lisboa, Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Viana do Castelo and Bragança. And for last but still extra important the foods to try are Francesinha, Roasted Pork, Arroz de Marisco (Portuguese seafood rice and my favorite) Ameijôas á bolhão pato (Clams so good that Anthony Bourdain almost orgasmed on when he visited Porto) Roasted Octopus, Prego sandwiches, Bifana Sandwiches, and one that every tourist skips, the Portuguese croissants with chocolate, egg cream or ham and cheese (extra bonus points if pressed in a grill so the cheese melts). You also may want to try add cinnamon to the egg custard tarts, it makes them even better!
Hey Ben and Tamara, yet another nice piece of work. Ben, I must say when I saw the title of the vid I was thinking that what was coming was an announcement about the end of Kombi on the You Tube platform. In announcing the series early this year you had indicated pretty clearly that the economics for the channel no longer worked and that changes were possibly coming. So, I wanted to ask where things stand after the season has seemingly run its course. Is the end here? I'm not seeing too much new content even on Patreon and this Spain/Portugal adventure was from quite awhile ago. What have you guys been doing since and care to say anything about what is to come. Like many of your viewers, I have been watching the vids almost since the beginning. Respectfully.
I can say we have another season to produce, but I also say that it was very much unsustainable before this new series, and unfortunately, that has not changed - despite how much people are loving it!. At this rate, this series will be the last 😣 The latest Kombi Crew Real-Time video on Patreon this week shares significant developments and why things must change. We appreciate your question, and for sharing the journey with us Steven
